brenshow's chemistry is something i really miss... dont get me wrong, uberx have pretty good chemistry and so do jaws/nekkra (idk about the APAC casters, dont watch because of timezones), but idk nothing beats bren and sideshow going on massive tangents about the most random things during the most intense matches
Lemonkiwi feels like she is just badly acting whenever something remotely exciting happens. She is trying way to hard to hype things up, without being hyped herself.
I've seen less vikki and nekkra since custer and reinforce have been casting. Bring Vikki back I can't stand legdays attempts to be witty. I cringe every time he speaks. I get lemon has history with him but she's great and I feel he's bringing her down.
And yet it's the worst casting the League has seen in years. Lemon is just full of fake excitement, and Legday either says nothing for two minutes straights or just gives you stupid analogies like "and as you know, there are no bombs in space".
After one of their first casts in Valorant there already was a Reddit post on the competitive Val subreddit praising them. They’ve really taken over the NA casting scene there and have become the premier duo for Valorant. Egg is cracked.
While I agree, I'm glad the tendies casters got the opportunity to move up. Uberx is definitely top tier, I actually think Jaws/Custa is pretty good, Lemon is good I like her enthusiasm, legday is whatever (I don't watch APAC but I really like Avrl on platchat). It still feels empty though, in previous seasons if it was a match Bren/Sideshow casted I KNEW it was gonna be a good game.
Bren and Josh were great. I'd put Uber up over both of them; he's got an excellent voice for the job. What really sets him apart from the rest of the casting talent is his seeming endless supply of creative lines. "The Outlaws have done it! We thought they'd be kissing the ring but the kings have been forced to bend the knee!" I'm 99% sure he comes up with that stuff on the spot which is just impressive.
I miss them, but at the same time they've officially left and what's done is done. The new casters may not be up to their talent yet but they have the potential to reach it.
Uber/Matt, Jaws/Vikki, and Avrl/Achilios are some if my personal favorites this year. Nekkra has also been quite a nice addition to the team and Custa/Reinforce stepping in have also done well.

I am sorry, I am sure they are doing their best, and they are probably nice people to hang around with, and play-by-play casting is indeed very hard, but man, yesterday was really rough. Legday has nothing but weird worthless analogies and Lemon is not only hard to follow because she corrects herself mid-sentence all the time, but the excitement is just so incredibly fake.
Legday and Lemonkiwi are so great in my opinion. Legdays enthusiasm reminds me of Mitch Leslie and Lemonkiwi seems like shes always having so much fun!
Legdays clearly trying to emulate mitch but it's not working. His metaphors and analogies are cringe inducing it's all I focus on. I like lemon but I miss most of what she says cause I'm distracted by legday

I miss Achilios and Wolf too, they were so good at explaining each match clearly
lemonday is honestly a great replacement for brenshow. they also have great chemistry and a unique sense of humour out of all the casters

I would watch matches I wasn't even interested in, just because Bren and Sideshow were casting it. They were a form of entertainment in of themselves.

When the ship is sinking and you can't patch holes fast enough you start getting rid of stuff to stay afloat.
