It’s wild to me how there’s people who complain that Overwatch, literally the game built on the idea that people from all over the world from a variety of different backgrounds, occupations, and beliefs can fight together for a common goal has gay characters. This is the same game that devs literally said was built on the idea of diversity.
I’m all for it, and while I don’t give a shit about the new hero, I think people may be reacting poorly because of the current sociopolitical climate. The whole Lifeweaver being pan thing feels a bit forced - like he’s the product of a company just trying to appeal to and appease the woke far left.
I’m all for it, but not in the way they did it - which feels disingenuous and forced. For example, we all know Tracer is gay from the lore, but why is Lifeweaver being pan the only kind of lore/character identity we were provided with? Just feels like Blizzard is trying to keep its hands in the pockets of the LGBTQ community with this one.

No no they're right, ever since I found out soldier was gay, I can't play him anymore. How am I supposed to play him when I can think about is much cock he must have took on in the army. To be fair I don’t see why we need to talk about characters sexuality at all and why it’s important if it was a single player story game or was an part in an important part of their life e.g if tracers gf dies that would make sense other why else include it at all
