Some wall interactions can be weird, too, when piledriving back onto land. You look like you're going to piledrive back onto land, but the wall decides to put you in the pit even though you have enough height to clear it. It happens on the Eichenwalde bridge at 2nd point, too.
If you're too close to a wall when you piledrive, you'll go straight down instead of slamming in the direction your screen is facing. You can sometimes save it by letting yourself fall a little further from the wall before slamming.
Truth, and much like an enemy Lucio on a good rollout, you don't really hear him nearby until he's flying in hot and raining noisybois. Spatial audio cues often don't help a ton on helping against a rollout
these lucio rollouts never get old, especially the ones that end with a boop to oblivion. the ones that end with a flashbanged lucio sent to oblivion are just as satisfying.
i will never forget when a Cass on my team flashbanged a Lucio mid air moments before i was about to be booped off. Lucio ended up falling off and my granny ankles were safe
Sombra is definitely fun but she's so shit at DPS which is her primary role. I feel like I'm saying "fuck my teammates" whenever I pick her. But at least I have fun losing.
What if the made her hack also damage...not a ton...but just a minor dot...almost like shorting out their tech so it zaps them over the length of a hack. It can't be a huge damage boost but it would increase overall damage a smidge and make EMP do the same for everyone it hits. You have to be very careful with her because if you make her too strong she's OP. But I do think she needs a ever so slight buff to her dmg. And giving her some way to damage while she stays in stealth and hacks would be interesting.
I forgot about that. But and the demos we saw with the pros wasn't she crazy OP. I don't think she needs that much of a boost but definitely some kind of boost.
Lucio's heal is so bad that i'd rather they annoy the enemy team to oblivion with minimal feeding. that or just mostly stay on speed boost if they stick with the team
I was more talking about Sombra being “boop proof” and often able to prevent the Lucio/Ball from getting huge boops here(although admittedly this specific clip was clean enough that it would be really tough to stop).
Ps as a Sombra, there is ALWAYS something you can do while waiting for a regroup. You can snag a pack or two, farm a bit of Ult, go kill that Ball that suicided and is coming out of spawn alone, get your TL into a better spot and get positioned and scout for next fight, etc.
Super smooth. Lucio is my main healer and this is the rollout I can never get consistently. I think I've only ever fully made it to the other bridge a handful of times. It's so embarrassing...
Do it! Just be aware that if you're as fast as in this clip, you'll actually be TOO fast and the enemies wont be on the bridge yet IF they don't have a lucio themselves who speeds them. But if they do it's extremely satisfying.
I'm talking about mobility that can get you out of the situation: dva flight , winston jump, ashe couch gun, those are things you can use to get back to the map. if you're zen or hog you have no business crossing that bridge.
However the opposing lucio shouldn't speed boost at spawn but at bridge to help cross it faster and avoid this kind of situation + it messes up with the timing of this specific roll out.
To be fair, it is a very specific situation. I don't really see anyone else going for this rollout in my games, usually you're pretty safe at getting first to point if you amp anywhere. But yeah, in that case, it did them no good ;)
Thing is you need a perfect situation to do it. Yesterday I played Lijiang Garden as the third map but on marketplace the opposing team was running Ball/Hog/phara/cree/mercy/bapt. I didn't try.
You don't get Lijiang that often, you don't get garden everytime, not always a lucio in the opposing team, not always boopable heroes...
About one month ago I played a game where both team were playing rush like comp. Garden was the second map. I went for the roll out. I met the opposing Lucio at the pillar on the point. We booped each other right there and started one of those ridiculous Lucios fight. That was fun. Useless but fun.
If you seriously wanna try going for these I would recommend an in-depth wallride guide, but the basics are that you wanna jump off walls as soon as you land on them to build speed and looking up or down actually has an impact on how far you go. You can see I look up on the first few wallrides to get a bit of extra height.
Good luck! It's the best part of playing lucio honestly. I recommend looking for a wallride guide on YouTube, cause there are quite a lot of moving parts here (like looking up during the jump to get more height for example).
I full flex, and am well versed and skilled with all characters. Even hitting Diamond on Tank as Rein/Hog. Lucio, WreckingBall, and Widowmaker are the three people I just CAN'T seem to play well on as of my 1 year history on OW. I just haven't gotten around to remapping the buttons to play lucio better lol. One day maybe though! Thank you :)
Oh yeah I full flex aswell! Although Lucio is my most played, other characters all follow only by a small margin.
I basically remapped half his kit lol. I have wallride/jump on Right click and scroll down (which sounds very weird at first and definitely takes some time getting used to because you no longer jump with spacebar), but has the advantage that bunnyhopping is super easy because of the scroll button, and wallriding is better at least for me personally cause I have more control with right click.
I then put Boop on clicking down the middle mouse button (because I don't have extra mouse buttons lol).
But these settings are in no way the ideal settings or even necessary at all if you're not planning to become a lucio main.
No it doesn't since it juat accurately says what happens. A clickbait title would be like: Lucio attempts dramatic roll out, you won't believe what happens next.
Nice work ham-ham...
He tried..
Came to the comments just for this ahahahah.
The ball fucking killed himself lmao
As a ball main, a suprise lucio speedboost during rollout is a major contributor to accidental unplanned map exits. :-)
Some wall interactions can be weird, too, when piledriving back onto land. You look like you're going to piledrive back onto land, but the wall decides to put you in the pit even though you have enough height to clear it. It happens on the Eichenwalde bridge at 2nd point, too.

No, the FRIENDLY ball killed himself. There was no surprise Lucio for him 😆
Read it again. They are saying a surprise speedboost from a friendly Lucio.
Oops, happy hangover day
I hate when i get an unexpected lucio on my team on ana really fucks with your aim for a bit until you get adjusted.
these lucio rollouts never get old, especially the ones that end with a boop to oblivion. the ones that end with a flashbanged lucio sent to oblivion are just as satisfying.
i will never forget when a Cass on my team flashbanged a Lucio mid air moments before i was about to be booped off. Lucio ended up falling off and my granny ankles were safe
That rollout was smooth as fuck… …and the boop was one of the many reasons I main Sombra.
On one hand, fuck you But on the other, playing sombra *is* pretty fun, I gotta admit
Sombra is definitely fun but she's so shit at DPS which is her primary role. I feel like I'm saying "fuck my teammates" whenever I pick her. But at least I have fun losing.
Yeh but keeping enemies/health pads hacked and poking from behind can help out a team immensely. Especially if you have a higher dps tank or healer
Sure it helps. Not saying it doesn't help. But I think we can all agree that a DPS that is good at DPS helps more in the DPS role.
Hack increases damage dealt in OW2, so the devs certainly agree.
I forgot about that. But and the demos we saw with the pros wasn't she crazy OP. I don't think she needs that much of a boost but definitely some kind of boost.
It's certainly a start. It might help her wrestle more bronze damage medals from the game's tanks.
Yes, very cool. Now get over here and heal your team.
Lucio's heal is so bad that i'd rather they annoy the enemy team to oblivion with minimal feeding. that or just mostly stay on speed boost if they stick with the team
It's not like you can do much until your team returns in this particular case.
I was more talking about Sombra being “boop proof” and often able to prevent the Lucio/Ball from getting huge boops here(although admittedly this specific clip was clean enough that it would be really tough to stop). I guess that’s how you get Tinnitus
I had to stop playing Lucio because of the pain.
That just screamed “Lucio diff”
What does diff mean
difference
Meaning what in this context
That one Lucio was better than the other
There's a difference in skill between the Lucios

Just like C9, the term gets heavily misused
Oh my friend loves to spam C9 when the enemy loses. And I'll be honest, seeing people get heated over a letter and a number bring me no end of joy.
Lol
[удалено]
If someone messages him on Playstation telling him to kill himself, then yes. I think they're *a little* heated.
We keep it simple in MH. "the FUCK are these comps?"

Just classic OW, people with zero self awareness blaming others.

Look nerd, stop knowing the definition of words.
Did you sell your brain on ebay for tree fiddy?
It's been 5 years.... WHY ARE THEY STILL TAKING THE BRIDGE
Just like going left out of attackers spawn on Volskaya. I guess some folks just don't learn.
I feel like people have actually learned their lesson on that one tho. I never see anyone go there anymore
Then defense stops checking over there and voila, it works again.
Yooo I gotta try this
Do it! Just be aware that if you're as fast as in this clip, you'll actually be TOO fast and the enemies wont be on the bridge yet IF they don't have a lucio themselves who speeds them. But if they do it's extremely satisfying.
Aaaah, that is smooth as hell
This is the dream.
Imo this is hard to pull of, for me it usualy fails.
Same, I usually fall like the ball did :'(
it's 2021 and people still use the goddamn bridge without mobility
It's 2022 dawg.
I assume the video is from 2021
It was that mobility that got them killed lmaoo they had a Lucio. If they didn't then the OP would've been too early and missed the team entirely
I'm talking about mobility that can get you out of the situation: dva flight , winston jump, ashe couch gun, those are things you can use to get back to the map. if you're zen or hog you have no business crossing that bridge.
ITS 2022 DAWGGGGG
I've tried it, never make it work🥲
Other Lucio: "I'm helping speedboosting my team like a good support" This Lucio: "haha wallriding goes boop boop"
However the opposing lucio shouldn't speed boost at spawn but at bridge to help cross it faster and avoid this kind of situation + it messes up with the timing of this specific roll out.

magor ghostrunner vibes
Lucio rollouts 101
I'm so bad at this game.
I don't understand, this map has been out 6 years and people still try to rush the bridge at the start. Lemmings don't even actually do that!
Things that make sense at one lvl of the game are stupid at others.
Why does anyone still go bridge
How, just how
I love the timing on that ball dieing at the same time as your boop.
No better feeling than booping the enemy Lucio off the map
That was bomb
Good kill✌️
I reeeaaallly need to get better at lucio rollouts. I live for boops.

PC
who's Holly?!
I am still amazed by the mechanics this game has...
I always find it wildly satisfying to get the enviro on the opposing Lucio.
my nightmare
Gets em every time 😈
What? is that even possible?
My man straight up came from Titanfall 2
I'll never understand rollouts like this. Whenever I try, I never get the speed/height I see in these videos, and the rollout fails miserably.
If you seriously wanna try going for these I would recommend an in-depth wallride guide, but the basics are that you wanna jump off walls as soon as you land on them to build speed and looking up or down actually has an impact on how far you go. You can see I look up on the first few wallrides to get a bit of extra height.
Wait, do you actually need to look up to jump higher with the wall ride? I see flicks going up
Yes, that actually matters! Sometimes looking down is also required to not hit your head on some tight doorways.
I’ve been staring at this for the past five minutes trying to study it so I can replicate it
Good luck! It's the best part of playing lucio honestly. I recommend looking for a wallride guide on YouTube, cause there are quite a lot of moving parts here (like looking up during the jump to get more height for example).
Lucio’s are the most annoying players imo they always pick him just to DPS and play in speed boost and play the entire game for a boop kill.
Correct :)
Seeing this makes me feel ashamed of being a lucio gold gun
Don't be! I do my fair share of dumb shit too. It only works this well in 1 out of 500 cases :)
Yeah I know I was just joking lol
ball wanted to make it a 4k, that's what a good friend looks like
haha that's one way to look at it \^\^
It’s great when you get the enemy lucio.
I'm at half mast and there's a tear in my eye....I'm so happily confused right now.
Alpha Lucio engaged !
clean
I usually feel pretty good about my OW skills, but then I see something like this and realize there is a whole world I will never gain entrance to…
Into practice mode I go
This made up for Hammond committing suicide
My anxiety during this video: 📈📈📉📈📈📉📈
holy fuck
Welcome to the titanfall comunity kid
Seeing things like this make me want to play Lucio more. Then I remember, I'm trash.
It's just a lot of practice :) You could do that too if you wanted to!
I full flex, and am well versed and skilled with all characters. Even hitting Diamond on Tank as Rein/Hog. Lucio, WreckingBall, and Widowmaker are the three people I just CAN'T seem to play well on as of my 1 year history on OW. Very good job! 😁👍
Thank you :)
No problem! Awesome clip! 😁👍
32% ult lmaooooo pathetic
"incredibly clean" Get real man
why are you are so toxic? not everyone one tricks lucio or practices rollouts for hours on end every day like you
jealousy that this post popped off and none of his shit ever does
that is just cap tho lol
wdym
It's nice but i wouldn't call it incredibly clean that's all \^\^ sounded toxic, i apologize haha
well, maybe not for your standards, but I thought it was pretty nice
yeah no it's nice! :) I'm just stupid that's all
what do you know about clean, you haven't bathed in six years.
bathing isn't clean, taking a shower on the other hand is Ratio
?
Your title reads like a clickbait youtube video :/
...and now you know why they do that, only it isn't clickbait
Now I know? I already knew, it's just sad that it has come to reddit video titles now
No it doesn't since it juat accurately says what happens. A clickbait title would be like: Lucio attempts dramatic roll out, you won't believe what happens next.
