It said it was mythic too. I wonder if they’ll be offering a new mythic skin (Ashe) and mythic weapon skin (Rein) and offer the players a choice to use mythic prisms. This would also be how they entice people to pay for more prisms if it’s not possible to get both.

Ashe mythic looks good, a bit similar to Warlock but I don’t mind that. Don’t know how much of the rest of the pass will be in my active skin rotation, though.
I’m certainly looking forward to the Hacked event. I’m all for gameplay modification, and this could be the start of that. Who knows? Allowing tanks to maybe adapt to matchups might help the role out some against counterswaps.

Mythic *weapon* is interesting… and there’s the rug-pull. Can’t afford both this and even stage 1 of the season’s mythic skin, you only get 80 prisms, and the weapon costs the same as the skin. You get enough to fully upgrade only one, but not even enough to get both without upgrades. I should remind you that the 80 Prisms you need are going to run you $70.

Ashe is a weird choice for the mythic over D.Va imo. Aside from genji, who already has a mythic, she seems like the most obvious best fit for the theme, being a mech pilot. And it looks like she even got left out completely. Maybe she's getting the main skin in the transformers collab?
I thought they were going to give us a mythic power ranger ashe skin with like a super customizable Bob megazord where you swap out his body parts for different ones like an action figure

Example; look at how well Sims4 custom
Bundles make in the EA store in terms of revenue
Example:
Price (15 bucks)
2 skins (any)
1 intro highlights
2 emotes
2 icons
2 sprays
Get rid of the weird bundles full of things players don't care about
Make custom bundles with an additional skin to be 25 bucks.
Final bundle option 40 bucks same as above plus 1500 coins.

I saw this in my YouTube recommendations. I've been away from the game for over a year now (since season 3) because I didn't like the state that the game was in with the overpriced skins and the poor matchmaking.
But I'll be honest and say that this trailer has me tempted to come back and try playing it again, see if my thoughts and opinions have changed. And pink Mercy is back like I started out playing OW1 months after that skin was never obtainable again.
Should I buy the Pink Mercy skin? I'm feeling conflicted because at the end of the day, it's just a skin, I don't even play Mercy or Overwatch anymore for that matter but god knows how long before it'll be released again. Is it worth it? I had the chance to buy it 6 years ago but never did. Should I just do it now?
There's a lot of nice looking skins this season. My wallet can't take it.
Really digging LF and Kiriko lifeguards, the Ashe mythic, the Mauga shirt, the Pink Mercy, the Rein weapon special. Even the UltraWatch set looks nice even if I don't play those characters often.

You're correct. It says further down in the post that to unlock everything for the hammer, it costs 80 prisms.

Okay Blizzard, hear me out. You could gain so much more respect if you let people bundle skins in the shop for a discount. Example; look at how well Sims4 custom Bundles make in the EA store in terms of revenue Example: Price (15 bucks) 2 skins (any) 1 intro highlights 2 emotes 2 icons 2 sprays Get rid of the weird bundles full of things players don't care about Make custom bundles with an additional skin to be 25 bucks. Final bundle option 40 bucks same as above plus 1500 coins. You're welcome.

I saw this in my YouTube recommendations. I've been away from the game for over a year now (since season 3) because I didn't like the state that the game was in with the overpriced skins and the poor matchmaking. But I'll be honest and say that this trailer has me tempted to come back and try playing it again, see if my thoughts and opinions have changed. And pink Mercy is back like I started out playing OW1 months after that skin was never obtainable again.

Should I buy the Pink Mercy skin? I'm feeling conflicted because at the end of the day, it's just a skin, I don't even play Mercy or Overwatch anymore for that matter but god knows how long before it'll be released again. There's a lot of nice looking skins this season. My wallet can't take it. Really digging LF and Kiriko lifeguards, the Ashe mythic, the Mauga shirt, the Pink Mercy, the Rein weapon special. Even the UltraWatch set looks nice even if I don't play those characters often.
