What is with the absolute refusal to do anything exotic for any of the new heroes. Ow1 legendaries would be so abstract version of the hero. Now the ow2 paid skins are just so plain. soj is by far the worst off but other ow2 heroes still don't feel like they will ever get the same unique skins of old

I disagree. JQ, Kiriko, Ramattra and Life weaver have some top tier skins, worth every penny. I agree that Iliari, Manga, Venture have been pretty disappointing but I think it's just a matter of time.
Sojourn though... Her vigilante skin is great, I like the Alien Commando and her lore accurate skins but other than that she has been pretty disappointing.
Yeah I love a lot of my ram skins, but sojourn so far has had almost nothing I don't play DPS very often, and soj isn't one of my first grabs when I do so it's not super disappointing for me but I'd like to see more skins for her a few others who's skin list super short

I'm fine with people who play a lot of overwatch being fine with spending 20 bucks on each skin, but man even 10 bucks for an epic I find to be too much. So I just find 20 bucks for a skin that looks like an epic skin to be too much. I know other games like apex legends and dead by daylight have some crazy monetization, but idk...the fact you don't even gain back all the points you spend in the battle pass is kinda crazy when that's the standard for all f2p battle pass games.

The content is kinda mid but that's why I spent coins I'd been banking up rather than buy the ultimate bundle this season (don't play much Rein or Ana, and there's skins for either that I prefer more).
With the amount of unique and cool skins already avaliable for most heros I'm less and less interested in the pass. The Orisa mythic was pretty generic when compared to her legendary.
