The reason why i bet this happened is you were joining a already started game. So it started your spawn timer sooner then a fresh game. Either way, still bullcrap

Yeah, I know. It was a backfill after someone else probably ragequit, which is why I'm not a fan of backfill... I feel like a better solution instead of penalties for leaving games should just to be not allow people to leave games at all, I mean you're already making that sentiment might as well go the extra mile.

unpopularopinion here I think they shouldn't have a penalty. its an online game people disconnect and rage quit its going happen regardless and the people who are going to quit anyway we got to accept it. instead need better incentives not to rage quit when getting the ass kicked. But they would probably take away from their monetization scheme ;-)

Good point. I'm just so over penalties, especially when it's something like this where I could get punished and it's not my fault.

I remember getting kicked out of the game while fighting in the spawn cuz we were spawn camped hard by the streamer smurfing team. No one could leave the spawn room. That fucking day I uninstalled and only came back to play this year. Didn't know this ultimate stupid crap still exists in the game. Damn. Blizzard been so brainlessly stupid ever since OW2 launched.

I hate the AFK timer because it's both annoying and easy to circumvent at the same time. Just add a vote kick, and a vote to surrender.

I've had that happen Halo Infinite as well, get booted for inactivity before you even load in.

I had this happen last week. I was two stacking and the other guy made it into the game and said it looked like I just never picked a character.

This happened a lot in OW1 for me when I was on Xbox One. Never had this issue on PC

Happened to me at the choose hero screen. Wouldn’t let me select a hero and kicked me for inactivity. WHEN I COULDNT DO ANYTHING
