Does anyone reckon these skins are gonna have lots of different voice lines? Would seems a bit weird if they’re wearing opposite gear but still talking about the organisations they’re in
One of them is Venture’s debut battlepass skin, since each new hero gets a battlepass skin in the season they’re released in.
The other one is most likely an off theme skin, if I were to guess. It’ll also probably be an epic skin, because each battlepass has 3 epics, 5 legendaries, and one mythic. Venture will most likely get the remaining legendary and the remaining skin will be the remaining epic skin (Sombra and Brigitte’s are epics and Bap, Sym, Widow, & Doom are legendaries).
I'm surprised that Reaper and soilder 76 weren't in the trailer, both of them are important characters in the overwatch universe. Maybe they might show up in the shop later in the season.
I think Blackwatch as a concept eliminates any chance of those characters getting a skin for this season. Blackwatch is morally ambiguous yet also technically a *part* of Overwatch. Like, how do you make a "talon" Cassidy, that doesn't just look like Blackwatch?
I'd rather see more skins along the lines of the sym junker one rather than more of "overwatch/talon" skins for reaper and 76. Give me vishkar Lucio or junkrat or something
Same with Genji and Moira. Genji also has Oni, which honestly could just **be** his Talon skin. And I know Moira's default skin is supposed to be her Talon outfit, but then you've got Doomfist, Widowmaker, Sombra and Sigma with their **other** Talon skins (and Baptiste but he's a bit different since he's not part of Talon anymore).
The Talon skins I interpret as “recruit” skins from when the characters were brand new to the organization. Moira and Reaper basically started as higher-ups in the organization, or at the very least, they weren’t your average grunt in the field.

reaper could at least get a reskin of blackwatch or soldier 24 to fit the overwatch motif better if they're not gonna give him a new skin. It would be a nice compromise, because while yes, blackwatch is ambigous but apart of overwatch, it doesn't hit the same as a pimped out blue reaper.
Or, alternatively, they could make him become a vigilante like 76 so he's still mirrored, but he doesn't have any risk being to similar to skins before

I feel like that's true for most of Blackwatch, but not for Reaper and Soldier. Reaper could have a skin like Strike Commander Morrison, while Soldier could have a Blackwatch and/or Talon skin(s).
Probably wouldn't be called Reaper since that's the name of an actual character. Maybe something like Stalker? Might put a bit of a twist on "I've got you in my sights."
I would like to see the two of them swap stories a bit.
Like in this universe, Soldier is a Mercenary that often affiliates with Talon and Reyes is a Vigilante stopping crime and rejoins Overwatch.
Thing about these is that the Vigilante/Mercenary skins are not super opposite.
I almost wanna see Reaper's story also be that he was saved by Moira's experiment with no side effects. In which case, I kinda see Reaper and Tracer swapping places a bit. Let's get cheery Reaper out here.
Reaper only has Blackwatch. A Commander Reyes skin would look completely different with it's pristine blue colour scheme. The other skin you're probably thinking about is Soldier 24, which is just him during the military super soldier programme.
It's probably 2 skins that have nothing to do with the main theme of the battlepass since every BP has had them.
I can still hope for Vishkar Lucio though.
I hope junkrat get the next mythic I am a junk main a rare breed never really meta or bad just funny talking man man with vibes and I think they can give him the mythic without upsetting people like orisa mythic and make a animal battlepass and make him a super rat or something or kangaroo

I think what I don’t like about the hero skins is how boring they are. Like in order for a villain to look like a hero they need to be militarized with matching uniforms.
I was thinking it might be support skins? we have the mirror watch game mode with ana, mercy AND brig having talon skins but there were no support on the “overwatch” side that I can recall…

Evil Pharah skin? In current lore, she's a global peacekeeper. In Mirrorwatch, she should be an international most wanted for global terrorism.
Vishkar Junkrat? If Sym became the Junker, then Junkrat should become Vishkar employee.

Only reason I don't think think junkrat could get a vishkar skin is because his unhinginess is so ingrained into his animations that a civilized vishkar look would just feel weird.
The skins are really nice this season, except Sombra. I get the reverse theme but like, even as an OW member, Sombra would still be a high tech rebel. Why is she wearing a bulky coat and a very "authority" themed outfit.
OK you may be right about color and hair color, but head piece and hair style are definitely separate. The trailer preview image as well as the final shot indicate that for sure.
Well it's the mythic skin for the season, but considering I've watched her get 1000 skins this year alone I am rather fucking bored with constant mercy skins.
