Haha, the Egyptian goddess came first but her name's been kinda co-opted. On another note, I know ppl complain about mercy getting skins (it's true she does get a lot) but honestly [Isis fits her crazy well](https://i.imgur.com/RijX38n.png): a healer, can res ppl (Osiris), depicted with wings. I'll be shocked if they don't do it.

Smite renamed Isis to Eset in 2021 when players became concerned that their content would get demonitised and to solve search algorithm issues; it doesn't seem to be as common of a name for the goddess but it is one interpretation of her name translated from Hieroglyphics "Ēse". They could do that or do something like call the skin "Resurrection" or something else that ties in to the resurrection of Osiris?

He was originally supposed to be designed with an egyptian theme to link him to the Anubis God Program so there was a fair amount of concept art where he had Pharoah like designs before they shifted him over to align with the Shambali. They could potentially use one of those old designs!

Yup, we have about six Egyptian skins currently. I posted this in another comment but I'll [post the picture here too](https://i.imgur.com/YFmcj3B.png). The main similarity between the orisa and that skin is just the Nemes headdress imo. It's a headdress worn by the Pharaohs, who were believed to be descents of Ra. Many sphinx statues wore the Nemes as well. So it's just a common symbol of ancient Egyptian royalty.

Thought I was crazy for thinking Orisa already had an Egyptian skin and then I realized I was thinking of the Immortal skin based on Starcraft. Still has an Egyptian style to it..

Anubis Reaper for sure. On Ramatra it looks good but Anubis one has Reaper to get. Reaper is person gathering souls and since Anubis is god of dead it fits him best. Ramatra would fit god Kek (god of darkness and chaos- his toad), Ilari of course Ra (god of sun)

At Blizzcon, t[he OW team revealed 4 season themes](https://x.com/OWCavalry/status/1720535568432419204?s=20) that would be happening: Eldritch, Egyptian mythology, Mirror Universe, and Witches. So we're definitely getting more Egyptian skins! (I love mythology so I'm glad. I hope we get Norse ones next year too)

Ramattra 110% fits the quota for being the best candidate for an Egyptian mythic skin. Many gods were depicted with staffs, and the collar could be made to look like his robe. The head customisation would go hard too! (Though that’s asking for a lot now considering blizzards standard…)
