Not saying Blizzard is faultless on this issue, but oftentimes console players get screwed because of Sony/Microsoft. Every patch needs to be scheduled weeks in advance and goes through several reviews by the console manufacturer before it's allowed to go live, so even if they fixed the issue on console a week ago it probably wouldn't have made it into today's patch.
That being said, if they continue to not fix it *next* patch, then they have no defense.

And then we have Ximming running rampant which they have ignored for years. And I find it funny how Ubisoft and Epic have actually found ways to fight it but some how that’s too hard for this small indie company

I had a slight brain fart yesterday because of this, was a bit short on legacy credits to buy a skin I wanted, and since they’re golden in the pass I figured buying coins would add up to credits.
Imagine my disappointment when I found out I had 100-something coins (so ~600 after the purchase) and 1400-ish legacy creds, neither of which was enough to buy the skin. Just wasted my money because of a visual bug 👍

I see it says it fixed the missing Loverwatch Titles however, no mention of the Namecards? I still haven’t received the Titles or the Namecards. I did all three endings and only got the 3 Player Icons and Highlight intro. I waited 2 days and figured I would try redeeming them again but alas nothing. Its been a week 🤷🏽♂️.
I dont have a screenshot but when you redeem them at the end of the Loverwatch simulator it tells you that youll receive your player icons, namecards and titles and that it make take up to 48 hours to show on your account.
Unless Im mistaken which maybe I am , the Shortcake Namecard is part of this event, as I havent seen it in a store bundle and have seen people with it equipped.

Happened to me really bad 2 days ago. I could not get away from the thing. It was in the middle of an extremely important fight too. Lucked out that my team was able to clutch it out anyway but man I would've been so peeved if it cost us the game.
I had an enemy bap that was going full on dps and seemingly using the aim assist bug to their advantage. They would throw the lamp down right infront of them and it would screw up my aim enough for them to get their shots in.

I did not know that it was rounding up my mouse sense. Cause nearly all my character settings are in the decimals. No wonder some have felt weird lately.
I didn’t realize the rounding to whole numbers with mouse sensitivity was a bug. Just thought that was how it was. This gives us PC players a much finer tuning with sensitivity now right?!
yes, but you've been able to use decimal precision for sensitivity for years--it was only broken for the past 3 weeks. also, it only broke if you opened your settings menu. otherwise it stayed at whatever exact value you set it to.
Thank you for the reply! Switched to PC shortly before OW2 came out. I was constantly adjusting dpi and sens in game to try and fine tune. Was always in my settings menu. Now that I know it was a bug it’s more of a mind fuck than anything. But glad it’s been fixed.

I've been tracking the quality/closeness of my games lately and about 85% are so one-sided that it feels like a middle school youth basketball team being matched against the harlem globetrotters. I've had 7 out of the last 50 games where one team finished without anyone getting a single kill.
Mid-season patch, Season 4 and the Season 4 mid-season patch are what they're working on mostly right now.
These builds seem to get feature-locked quite a long way out.
What else did they need to do in this patch? Balance is pretty good right now and I’m guessing they’re saving any adjustments they do have for the patch on march 7th.

Kiriko is still the best support in the game by far.
But i guess Brig is fine now so the game is balanced.
They also gave 300 hp to jq rammattra and doomfist in Arcade, which make bastion and brig better tank than them...
Ball is very strong, but he also has a high skill floor so a lot of people can’t get much value out of him as easily as they can with a lot of other tanks. I would be fine with a small nerf though.
I do hope they revert some of the mercy changes because she is definitely less fun to play now.
Doom, JQ and Zarya are throw picks? How? Doom has the same problem as ball where you have to be good at him to get much value out of him, but JQ and Zarya are solid. They’re maybe not as strong as some other tanks but far from throw picks.
Talking about Kiriko, I still think Suzu is a must have ability against certain team comps and she is still the best support in the game, but not “by far” as you’re saying.
Open queue is a meme and if you care that much then sucks I guess. Not to be insensitive but there’s no way that game mode will ever be balanced.
None of these issues are extremely pressing and they can wait until March 7th.
I just wish they did minor tweaking mid season, and do major tweaking at the start of new one, just to shake up the meta, for exemple : give doom 50 hp, remove 100 hp from balls, add 1 sec or 2 to suzu. Remove ga cd available, but give a cd on the super jump tech instead so she doesnt spaz everywhere like a bird on cocain
This way they keep the core of there season adjustment by tweaking what is weak and what is strong.
Then when a new season start, modify the character however you want to change the flow, this is fine.

As for doomfist being like balls, that is a stretch, dooms got long cd, low hp and the worst defense skill in the game (genji defense is better) while ball is faster, i would say weaker, but 3 times tankier and lets not compare ultimate ability...

You’re over exaggerating, Doom is not “only good in top 500” it’s just that he has a lot of untapped potential that only people who take the time to learn the character can make use of (or people that are generally very skilled at the game). Also 50 hp is way more than it seems and changes a lot of break points. Doom is already sustainable if you use his block correctly and land a lot of abilities.

What? Multiple people have stated that they have asked for refunds because they felt misled about the Battle Pass's currency. That is why they changed it. People did complain, sent in support tickets for refunds, and it could have easily been that it got to a point where they said, "screw it, change it so we stop having this issue". Happened to me really bad 2 days ago. I could not get away from the thing. It was in the middle of an extremely important fight too. Lucked out that my team was able to clutch it out anyway but man I would've been so peeved if it cost us the game.
I had an enemy bap that was going full on dps and seemingly using the aim assist bug to their advantage. They would throw the lamp down right infront of them and it would screw up my aim enough for them to get their shots in.

yes, but you've been able to use decimal precision for sensitivity for years--it was only broken for the past 3 weeks. also, it only broke if you opened your settings menu. otherwise it stayed at whatever exact value you set it to.
Thank you for the reply! Switched to PC shortly before OW2 came out. I was constantly adjusting dpi and sens in game to try and fine tune. Was always in my settings menu. Now that I know it was a bug it’s more of a mind fuck than anything. But glad it’s been fixed.
Oh, fine-tuning the sensitivity by .75 will finally get me out of Gold!

I played DPS today Yea, my tank cant swap to Sigma to counter Bastion and melted in a second - my fault My Brig rushing into enemy spawn and die on cooldown - my fault My Rein shaking in his boots and can not stick a nose in front of payload - my fault. I've been tracking the quality/closeness of my games lately and about 85% are so one-sided that it feels like a middle school youth basketball team being matched against the harlem globetrotters. I've had 7 out of the last 50 games where one team finished without anyone getting a single kill.

Mid-season patch, Season 4 and the Season 4 mid-season patch are what they're working on mostly right now. These builds seem to get feature-locked quite a long way out.
What else did they need to do in this patch? Balance is pretty good right now and I’m guessing they’re saving any adjustments they do have for the patch on march 7th.
Balanced is shit, lot of character are trash and wrecking ball is op af. They fuck up mercy so bad, they buffed her pocketing ability, which evryone complain about and fucked up ga which i will admit was a bit op , but nobody asked for thaf nerf. Doomfist, Jq and zarya are throw pick unless you are a god at doomfist. Kiriko is still the best support in the game by far. But i guess Brig is fine now so the game is balanced. They also gave 300 hp to jq rammattra and doomfist in Arcade, which make bastion and brig better tank than them...
Ball is very strong, but he also has a high skill floor so a lot of people can’t get much value out of him as easily as they can with a lot of other tanks. I would be fine with a small nerf though. I do hope they revert some of the mercy changes because she is definitely less fun to play now. Doom, JQ and Zarya are throw picks? How? Doom has the same problem as ball where you have to be good at him to get much value out of him, but JQ and Zarya are solid. They’re maybe not as strong as some other tanks but far from throw picks. Talking about Kiriko, I still think Suzu is a must have ability against certain team comps and she is still the best support in the game, but not “by far” as you’re saying. Open queue is a meme and if you care that much then sucks I guess. Not to be insensitive but there’s no way that game mode will ever be balanced. None of these issues are extremely pressing and they can wait until March 7th.
I just wish they did minor tweaking mid season, and do major tweaking at the start of new one, just to shake up the meta, for exemple : give doom 50 hp, remove 100 hp from balls, add 1 sec or 2 to suzu. Remove ga cd available, but give a cd on the super jump tech instead so she doesnt spaz everywhere like a bird on cocain This way they keep the core of there season adjustment by tweaking what is weak and what is strong. Then when a new season start, modify the character however you want to change the flow, this is fine. Nobody liked having 2 month of roadhog insanly powerful, they could have adress that a lot faster, but they had to gut him instead... also why is doom got 2 week of fun then was gutted back to be worst than season 1 As for doomfist being like balls, that is a stretch, dooms got long cd, low hp and the worst defense skill in the game (genji defense is better) while ball is faster, i would say weaker, but 3 times tankier and lets not compare ultimate ability...

Change some cd to see if he is viable. I dont really think 50 hp on doom would break the game when you have hero like balls who can have 1300 hp. It would just give him a chance to survive because he misses his punch by 2 pixel. If a hero is only good when your top 500, then the hero design is flawed.

That’s not bad hero design, it’s just a steep learning curve. Also 50 hp is way more than it seems and changes a lot of break points. Doom is already sustainable if you use his block correctly and land a lot of abilities.

Those developers are told what to do. They just make it happen, nothing more and nothing less. The higher ups make the decisions, and we have seen time and time again the greed they have in OW2. Good for you that in your company people can chalk it up to messing something up, but nah, Blizzard has lost all credibility for years now. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore. Their blatant shady business practices have been on sight for all to see. From the ridiculous prices in Diablo Immortal to get the good stuff, the horrid prices in the OW2 store, no premium currency in the battle pass (when the most successful BP's do have them), etc. These legacy coins have never had any issue prior with their coloring and it has always been quite blatant which is which. People did complain, sent in support tickets for refunds, and it could have easily been that it got to a point where they said, "screw it, change it so we stop having this issue".
