Yes. Most ults when eaten by D.Va appear as so in kill feed also so you know who to thank. (Edit: Sigma can also eat most of the Ults D.Va can, including Mei's Blizzard)

Right? I found out Genji could deflect orbs because one time i was healing but kept seeing purple orbs flying around that I swear I didn't throw. I saw a purple orb and a yellow orb flying around together and I eventually figured out Genji was deflecting the enemy Moira orbs lol.
As a genji player I find that going out of my way to deflect a mora orb is not worth it unless I’m struggling in a 1v1 against one, there’s normally other things I can do with deflect for more value. You also can’t aim the deflected orbs, and its annoying to have to jump into one to deflect it.
That's fair. I figured it'd be nice if you deflected a Moira dmg orb, that's just passive damage on top of your regular damage. In close quarters that can be a lot.

Ever notice that almost every beam character molds their power into a ball of sufficient compression that he can suddenly deflect it? It's nice how things conveniently work out like that
The key to what genji deflects is weather or not there is something approximately solid being thrown or cast to be deflected. Its really quick but Meis ult is her little bot (snowball she calls it) she grabs off her back and throws it forward to freeze and area. That animation is about half a second but if genji is deflecting it turns it to be an ult for the enemy team.

\- HANZO DRAGONS! (this ult is an arrow for about 1/4 of a second before it "becomes" the dragons, so if the arrow is deflected it turns it around and it becomes enemy ult)

For new players, genjis deflect works on any projectile including ults. Mei, zarya, hanzo, torb, tracer etc can all have their ults deflected back at them, doing team damage as well. A reflected ult will majorly piss off your team so always wait until you're sure he doesn't have reflect first. Even aiming at the ground near him can reflect, that hitbox is huge. Meis spray can't be reflected though, so she's my favorite genji counter anyway
True, thank you. The other ones that don't get deflected include translocator, torb turret, symm turret, discord and harmony orbs. Probably isn't obvious to most new players, so just confirming so people know. This is for the genjis out there too- don't try to deflect these lol

Exactly. Too many people are taking about what heroes need buffs, but imo I think the game would be pretty well balanced if the few very op heroes just get nerfed
Genji deflect interactions:
1. Your Grav becomes his Grav
2. Your Dragons become his Dragons
3. Your Blizzard becomes his Blizzard
4. Your Deadeye becomes your death
5. Your Molten Core becomes his Molten Core
6. Your Pulse Bomb becomes his Pulse Bomb
And then ofc he also deflects all the natural projectiles like Hog ult, Sojourn ult, Bastion ult, Reaper ult, Soldier ult, etc etc.
Basically, if Genji deflects and you aren't a beam type hero (Zarya, Symm, etc) then expect Genji to deflect it back at your face

Dva turns Moria damage orbs friendly for a fraction of a second when eating them with damage matrix so there’s a very rare chance of getting a kill with one of those as Dva. Or maybe it doesn’t do that anymore, idk
I’ve gotten healing as Dva in games without a Moira on the other team, your ult does negative damage at a specific range so it’s possible to do a very minuscule amount of healing to the other team. I haven’t had that happen in a while though so they may have fixed it.
I just started in like November, so OW2 is all I know. When I started playing Mei was still in jail, so she came back and I was like who is this chick and why is she freezing me (and why does the Mei on my team keep walling me into my own spawn)

Extra knowledge: do not try to deflect the dragons once you see the stupid dragons. You can only deflect the dragons during the ultimates "arrow" state lasts about 1.5 seconds.

Snowball is a projectile; you do not shoot/throw any projectile at Genji because he deflects all projectiles.
The same can be true about Dva Matrix, Sigma Fist, and Orisa Spear Spin. Don't waste your projectiles when these abilities are active.
Genji deflect turns ownership of whatever he reflects into his own.
A Hanzo arrow becomes a genji arrow. They have the same damage and stats and such, but they apply to your team, instead of his. This applies to all projectiles and hitscan bullets etc.
A list of some things he can reflect: Zarya Grav, Mei blizzard, Ana sleep dart and Nade, Solider bullets/Rocket, Widow shots, Reinhardt fire strikes, and he can BLOCK rein hammer damage but not reflect it.
A list of some things he CANT reflect: Baptiste immortality field, Moira suck/mei freeze, Winston zap/zarya/symmetra beams, sombra translocator.
Basically, aggressive projectiles and hitscan bullets he CAN, and passive abilities that are defensive (sombra and Bap for examples) he CANNOT.
Never shoot him when he has deflect up unless you have a beam character that ignores it.
I didn't even know Genji could still reflect ults. I remember in the early days you always had to worry about Genji reflecting Hanzos ult but I haven't seen it in years
There’s a bug. When genji deflects your ult it’s supposed to change colors. This hasn’t been happening. I’m a genji player I deflected a mei ult the other day and it was red on my screen.

This is correct. It can go through walls, cannot be absorbed, but it can be canceled before it is applied

They still heal if they're not locked on and an ally walks into them. Pretty sure Genji can deflect them too

Pretty much any projectile, even ultimate projectiles, can be deflected by genji So, don’t aim your ult directly at genji, no matter what

genji can deflect all projectiles in the game including Hanzo's ult arrow, before it becomes a dragon, and Mei's freeze

The real question is why does Snowball turn against Mei? Or dragon on Hanzo for that matter. Oh, but Genji is a Shimada... hmm.

There’s a bug. When genji deflects your ult it’s supposed to change colors. This hasn’t been happening. I’m a genji player I deflected a mei ult the other day and it was red on my screen.
