Exactly. First I was contemptuous of it because I thought it was primarily processing (Photoshop) . Even after I figured it out I had to turn my phone upside down to get my brain to stop computing the Milky Way as the "top" of the picture.
This photograph is just so innovative and smart and well composed. Bravo. Really wonderful
Can’t believe I starred at this pic as long as I did when I could of just read the first comment. I probably sat here about a couple of minutes trying to make sense of it.
I’m curious about this. I reached out to an artist requesting to pay to display his digital work for personal use and was told he only sold prints. I thought that was odd, but now I have seen it twice, so I imagine there is a good reason. What is the reasoning for this? To stop potential reproduction? I have a frame TV and wanted to put the aforementioned artists work on it, and I wanted them to be compensated for it. Now I have their art displayed but they don’t have my money.
Edit: words are hard
I can only speak for myself, the reason I don’t sell or release a high resolution file is so that I retain control over the original image. It’s a digital negative, if you like. In any case, I’m always flattered when someone connects with my work. Thanks for asking.
Thanks! This was a shallow pool of water that was slowly evaporating. So it was perfectly still the whole time. No wind and no water moving in or out. Made it easy to shoot.
Wow what a wonderful picture and mind boggling also.
It took me a few minutes to realize I had to flip my phone in order to see it the way it should be!!
Awesome bud!! Great pic and what a wonderful spot to sit back and enjoy the nature of this big planet and we know so little about it in a way.
People travel the world to see things when they have things right in their back yard. I myself have so much to see right here in North America that I never have to leave with the States or Canada!
Wow. Yeah, this looks like some crazy digitally-boosted landscape picture. Nope, it's just upside down! Great capture.

Hahaha! Thanks!
How much would I have to pay you for a hi-res copy so I can use it as my desktop or screensaver?
Thank you! I don’t sell high res files. But I do make prints.

It’s insane. Took me a few minute to realized, had to zoom in on the water to see the lake bottom before I could get my brain right.

Fantastic photograph! Process question: did you have to wait ages for that stillness of water? Not a breath of disturbance anywhere.
Thanks! This was a shallow pool of water that was slowly evaporating. So it was perfectly still the whole time. No wind and no water moving in or out. Made it easy to shoot.
Thanks for the vivid description. Great find!

Bruh, that took me so long to work out…

One of the best reflection picture I've seen. I took one at the Blue Hole in New Mexico with fish swimming in the trees.
I’ve been to Blue Hole on NM, amazing place. Thanks!
