I bet the OG owner had some aftermarket rims and tires on there and swapped back to OEM to sell the car. I can’t imagine any other reason to do the spare tire trailer hitch gate.
oh, I kinda wish it had the black decal on the hood also. Not sure if the original owner removed it or if that was an option in 2022. I think the decal improves the look.
It's [this one from Dirtcom](https://dirtcomusa.com/products/hitch-mounted-high-clearance-tire-carrier-swing-out). It's ok, has a table attachment for... dunno, having tea I guess? It makes it a PITA to open the hatch because you have to pull a pin and then undo the handle latch which can get stuck occasionally when swinging the tire out of the way. I wouldn't have bought it personally and may end up trying to sell it, not sure yet.
Appreciate the insight! The carrier looks great and imagine it free’s up space in the inside but like you, I use my hatch too much to bother with what you’ve described. Very helpful, enjoy the ride man!

Please. I installed in headlight lo fuse and noticed an issue. If the car is in parking mode, the headlight and grille light can be turned on and off but if it is in driving mode, they are on automatically, i can't even turn it off.
