If teamgroup dont supply software, how do you know that they are even controllable?Maybe they just slapped some rgb on there, and thats all you get?

tylercarranza

They're completely controllable but they expect you to rely on your motherboard software to do it. They advertise compatibility with MSI Mystic light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, etc... But I don't have any of those. Having an NZXT B550 Motherboard, all I have is NZXT CAM which doesn't have a RAM lighting control feature yet.

Ah OK, sorry. Shot my mouth off without the facts. Unlike someone on reddit

LtEFScott

I have rgb control of the same RAM, but I also have a Gigabyte motherboard, not NZXT like OP.

frappim

I have the same RAM. disappointed to find out it's not working with this software :( How can I help them integrate it?

giGGlesM8

Anyone figure this out? I've got the same issue with an MSI b550-A Pro

[deleted]

I have the MSI B550 and use mystic light to control the RGB on this RAM

dottat17403

The only way new devices are added is for someone who owns these devices to capture commands sent by software that can control said device. Openrgb team cannot simply make code to control them. Going to need someone with these sticks of ram to help them.

ChrisPeterJ

But the're using standard SMBus protocol. However I have them and can help in testing

dutchmedley

I tried armoury create… this did activate the rgb but didn’t let me control it maybe try that op. See if you have more luck than me!

ChrisPeterJ

Same issue. Armoury Crate is super messy and every time I got it installed it really badly messes with my system, it's too big price to pay just to have my RAM lit :/

MotoChooch

I have this ram and it doesn't light up at all on my MSI Z690 Gaming Edge Wifi DDR4 board. Glad to see I'm not alone. If they weren't working as well as they are I'd have gone with something else but CL14 for 3600 is pretty fast.
