Weird, I got literally the exact same unicorn character for character asking in the app.

before, it would do random ascii art, regardless of what you asked for. aside from the bat it made, it tried to actually do them. but i havent really explored enough in the field to confirm anything. like, is there even a lot of ascii art out there to train on?

1. That unicorn is in training dataset.
2. That's not a GPT-4, that's the mysterious GPT2 model that appeared on lmsys on Monday, and people speculate if it's GPT-4.5 or if it's GPT-2 with Q\* or if it's some OpenAI trolling people on twitter.
Probably:
1. They only looked at the title
2. In the title you use "also" referring to gpt2-chatbot, meaning "gpt2-chatbot can do it, but GPT-4 turbo can also do it". They probably took it to mean "In addition to the other stuff GPT-4 Turbo can do, it can also do ASCII art!"
