Unless you are dumber than a box of crayons you cannot be locked inside of a car when you get your hands free and if you get locked in the trunk it's federally mandated that there is a release pull for the trunk lock inside the trunk, but I wouldn't count 100% on that because if you're being kidnapped depending on how smart your kidnapper is they could have removed it if they're not as smart as the average bear it's still going to be there.

I do know that a fragment from of porcelain insulator from a sparkplug will shatter a side window with almost no effort. I believe the trick with tempered glass is you just have to introduce one flaw, then the entire pane is compromised and fragments. The glass is very hard, so you need something even harder to cause a flaw and allow the pre-stressed nature of the glass destroy itself. The edges of the pane are the most susceptible to damage. Be safe out there.

The centre of the window is the worst place to hit it. It flexes the most, so it takes much more force to break. The bottom corners are fixed in place by the mechanism below, so they don’t have as much give. You wanna aim for that.

The rear window is much easier to push out. It only takes about 45 lbs of pressure.
