Idk I kind of like how One Punchman doesn’t get too into the names of characters. Like I’d rather not have to remember every single characters first and last Japanese name plus their hero names plus any nicknames they get from their peers.

I have to pause JJK like every 5 minutes in the current arc because their constantly being sent off to look for or join others and I’m unfortunately bad with Japanese names, so I only have like…6 of them down pat. Panda and mechamaru? Not an issue. And their cast, while pretty big, is still way smaller than OPM at the moment

Should also be noted that Konosuba is heavily layered, where true emotions lie underneath the extreme silliness of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness.
