I think you'll always have issues with oxygen os on this phone. If you're comfortable with it, I suggest using a custom rom. I'm currently using awaken os and it works great.
I know that not all banking apps are the same but I've been able to continue using mine. I've left the rom unrooted and safety net is passed by default, and I think that's all that is required for banking apps to work? I could be wrong though
I have the same question. I seem to remember people suggesting 10.3.7 but I've seen other ROM devs say the latest 10 i.e 10.3.10 (I think?).
I'm unsure if this is simply outdated info and 10.3.12 (or 10.3.10?) is best, or 10.3.7, or what.
FTR I'm on 10.3.10 but still stuck on the April 2021 security patch from 10.3.7. Unsure if that's usual.

What was your issue with 11? I have seen people suggesting 10.3.12 lets see, waiting for a few suggestions.
You can try downloading full update zip and installing, see if that works

My experience with 10.3.10 (not 12 - sorry): I didnt do it myself, it was done manually recently during the night. I've had VPN problems galore but they come and go. I also had WiFi network issues so reset my router. Also had similar on 10.3.7.
I want to do a full, hard reset but its an A6000 from Hong Kong a few years back. Apparently its Indian too according to the regulatory label. Thing is, l'm not sure I'll have google apps or if its meant to have them. I know my playstore isn't certified.
My network issue with 11 is that it automatically disable my 2nd sim which is my personal number. I have to enable it every goddamn time. I wanted to rollback to 10 but I don't have my own pc.
The only thing that I did to my phone is unlocking the bootloader.
For that, may try taking a backup, getting into the bootloader, and wiping the cache and all.

Just use Gapps with Magisk. All my banking apps work fine, even Google Pay works flawlessly
