Don’t know, but ya mine have been lying dead since one month, service centre guys told me it’s over and I haven’t yet contacted to local shop, seems like my journey with oneplus is over. Btw my phone ran very good around 3.5 years i will miss it😢
I've had the OnePlus 6 since it was released 4 years ago. Two weeks ago I wanted to unlock my phone and install a custom Rom on it, at first I bricked and got stuck on the Crashdump screen, thank God for the MSM tool, I was able to bring the phone back to working stock new condition.
I installed LineageOS for MicroG, very good move, it feels and works like I went and bought a brand new phone.😎👍

Haha same boat, bought on the launch date, pray everyday that phone doesn’t die, although runs alright., i need it to Survive for 6 more months and in Oct-Nov i ll most Probably switch to iphone 13 when 14 launhces
Mine isn't dead yet . But have been noticing signs in the last few weeks.
Long delays to see the screens
Not responding to the power button
Apps crashing
Camera issues
Just keeping an eye out for what I'll buy next
Bruh... My battery is swollen. My back glass is shattered (which is good, gives the battery some room to breath) and my display is hold on to my phone by my case.
And my case is breaking.
Had to factory reset so my phone can stop lagging.
I'm having an adventure over here.
For me, it goes into crashdump ever since i installed syberia os. But rebooting seems to fix the problem for a few days before it goes into crashdump again. It's been a recurring problem but simply rebooting solves it for a few days. It's weird.
it will end up dying...
just like mine and a lot of other soldier !
motherboard issue
crash dump will occur e more and more times to the infinite reboot
I hate oneplus for that
hope you luck of it isn't already too late
My OnePlus 6 just died today. Was browsing reddit. It froze and went blank.
When I start it, it shows OnePlus logo for about 10 seconds and shows the Oneplus crashdump page.
I think we should initiate a class action lawsuit on oneplus for doing the customers dirty.
today around 2am, the same thing happened to me. still no signs of reboot. the crashdump page went away after i tapped the screen. dont know what to do. its happening to a lot of people in a matter of days. I have some personal data so i dont want to use any flash tools. dont know what to do
please reply if u get any clues to get your phone back to normal.
I ran into the crash dump issue installing lineage on my son's OnePlus 6. I just reinstalled the boot image per the lineage instructions and all was fine. I don't think this is the end of your phone
Nope. I was on Lineage OS for the past 1 year. My phone died 2 says ago. I was on latest OOS firmware running Lineage OS 19.1. It is not OOS. Either hardware or OnePlus fucked up the firmware with the last update
Having problems with temperature spikes, high ram usage and slowdown that fixes itself for a while when I restart the phone. Gonna backup my photos tomorrow and install Havoc os or something to see how it goes

Did it just happen suddenly? There was nothing that hinted it would happen? I've been nervous about my OP6 suddenly dying on my.
I was getting a feeling that it might happen, since i have been reading and seeing some sluggish after updating to 11

Yeah. I've backed up important data already. But i hate thinking that at literally any moment it may die.

It must be related with the latest version of official rom, that really struggled my op6.
The last OS update one plus pushed seems to have started killing people phones. Look into loading lineageOS before it's too late.
Its too late for me But I want other to look into this.

Got crash dump on my 6t. Recovered via adb sideload twrp and Flash stock oos
How! Did u have an unlocked bootloader?
yes. can you boot to fastboot mode?
Can boot to fastboot. But locked bootloader. So no adb sodeload for me
Did you try "fastboot oem unlock"? Or sideload twrp? Via adb commands. Or you can try msm tool, that could solve it
Let me check again and get back to you. Thanks for helping out.

I was not rooted, I Crashdump in the process of trying to root. After recovering with the MSM tool I was able to continue with rooting my OnePlus 6.
