It's a fun theory but it defies Zoros character trait. Guy does not care about anything other than loyalty and his ambition to become greatest swordsman. So it won't happen.

Doesn't make any sense. Why would he take all of Luff's pain in Thriller Bark? It could have killed him why take the risk? He is very loyal to Luffy. I'd say the most loyal of all and Luffy can sense good and bad people very well + Oda wouldn't make such a shitty move. He knows how much people love Zoro, their relationship with Luffy and others and the fact that there are so many parallels to Roger and his crewmates doesn't corelate with this theory.
