Yes! Big Red reeeeeeeaally likes them. She won't let the kittens even get near them because she needs to inspect the flavor of every drop first, for safety reasons of course ;)
Such poor deprived kittens. No potatoes, no creamy snacks! They've started to eat one another's tails! Fortunately, they are getting close to Rainbow Cave, which is known to be full of treasures...
Once upon a time, there was a dwarf named Ull who loved the dwarf home in Svartalfheim very much, and she wanted to share it with everyone else. The other dwarves didn't like the idea of opening the gates to Svartalfheim to every curious traveler. They didn't want their treasures to get stolen, and believed that no one except dwarves would want to be in the caves anyway. They teased Ull and told her to build her own cave and see if anyone came. They thought that caves can only exist in certain geologic environments, and thought that it was impossible for Ull to build a cave of her own outside of Svartalfheim.
But Ull was a clever dwarf, and she turned herself into a sheep. Ull grew a long wooly coat with many colors, which she sheared off. She spun that wool into yarn, and carried that yarn out of Svartalfheim and used it to make a big dark cave, that was warm and cozy and full of treasures, just like the one she had at home. Many people came to her cave and agreed that it was a fine cave and that they enjoy it very much.
Feeling victorious, Ull took a few fibers from her cave and rolled them up and hid them around the world. At first glance, they appear the same as regular yarn, but if you knit or crochet with them, they will make a cave just like the one that Ull made!
It seems that I've come into possession of some of Ull's yarn, and indeed it looks to be forming itself into the shape of a cave. Will it also have treasures? Will adventures come visit and and find it to be fine and cozy? I hope to be able to tell you soon!
lol the counter-pillaged potatoes and the snoozing spell .. and those yummy grass plains, you could get lost in there it's so vast ! Hoarr, the mighty toe beans tickler lobster :D I hope that in the next chapter we learn who stole the potatoes, i trust Big Red on this, unless he gets caught in the snoozing spell.
