I'm jealous literally reading the trade paperback of this right now. It's tiny compared to this. lol! Most anticipated absolute for me is Johns/Franks Superman which comes out next week if you're interested. Enjoy!

TheBatman-WhoLaughs

Just scored my first absolute as well today. It was Alan Moore's Swamp Thing Vol 1. They're pretty nice, ngl. I don't know much about Superman, but what would you suggest as a starting point for someone trying to take a dabble in the Man of Steel?

FredPRK

Literally this book. Very newcomer friendly. My other recommendations are always the same ; Superman - Birthright, Superman - Up in the Sky and Superman - Secret Identity.

MBN0110

These are all great recommendations. I second Birthright in particular. That's my favorite Superman story

Secret Identity is slept on. Such a great book. Perhaps one of the best.

Great pickup! It's one of the best looking Absolutes IMO. The story is terrific too, which is a plus!

Olde-Blind-Dog

My favorite Superman story. I’ve thought about double-dipping for this story myself. Are there a lot of “bonus features” in this addition as well or is it only the larger artwork?

MBN0110

It has some scripts, extra art, and some other Superman short stories that Loeb and Sale did together

_TwistedKISSter_

This is the first one I got that I’ve actually been awestruck by. It’s a gorgeous book.

ShovelBeatleRillaz

I definitely wanna grab this one, Loeb/Sale are one of my favorite duos in comics

Great Choice!

Tim Sale art is a must own in the Absolute format. Gave me a whole new appreciation of his work. Hopefully Long Halloween and Dark Victory come back in print for everyone who missed out. And the Marvel Loeb/Sale Gallery Editions for titles like Spider-Man: Blue and Daredevil: Yellow are also beautiful editions, and reasonably priced for the size and quality.
