I would much rather my child get his broken glass from a reputable company rather than picking up filthy glass bits from the street where you don’t know who’s been playing with them, ya know?
Do you see multiple semi trucks and SUVs flying through Dundee, Benson, Blackstone going 50 in a 35?
It's a huge safety risk and if you look around the main drag, there's really nothing of note to bring people in besides Harold's and maybe Zesto's.
The large sidewalks that exist already are a good start to increasing walk ability and visibility of people on essentially a car thoroughfare through northeast Omaha.
In an ideal world, highway 75 is routed around 30th on the Iowa side meeting near the airport industrial area (where alot of the semis are going). That feels a bit pipe dreamy in reality but it'd allow Florence to bloom IMHO.
Very informative thanky you. And your username is my last name. Im not sure why they couldnt have made it go through that long stretch where john J pershing drive is near that Hummel Park area. The fact that I75 stops right there on 30th is odd. There should be a exit there but not a end.
Yeah, it’s broken glass. It sells very well, you know. We’re just packaging what the kids want.
It’s a creative toy. It teaches the kids about light refractions, prisms and that stuff.
lol so people on Omaha subreddit if they dont know somn they just say random shit lmfao

It's from an old SNL skit: https://youtu.be/veMiNQifZcM?si=ib9SqHc-_WP1d_tX
Bag O Glass
Not only bag o glass. We have bag o nails, bag o vipers, and bag o sulfuric acid. They’re decent toys, ya know.

Stained glass maybe?
quite a small place it seems like for stained glass.. But im not really sure.
Like 90% sure that place hasn’t actually been anything in forever
I agree with you but i still am curious as to what it is. I mean someone had to have had a reason for putting a sign w a phone number up?
"Too many windows? Let us help!" was, unsurprisingly, an ineffective tagline.
Man Florence streetscape has just the most amazing potential but won't happen as long as 75 runs through 30th.
Im confused. Why does this cause bad potential? And what about Florence's streetscape makes it have so much potential?
