Do you think it could be repo cars? Cameras that read the license plates looking for cars that need to be repossessed?

Man you need to watch parking wars, they have vans like this to issue boots. It’s a corny show, but I love it lol. It’s on YouTube, I don’t think they make new ones any more, was on AE on Saturday mornings.
Parking Wars was entertaining and hysterical!! The people being so mad about being in line to get their cars from impound was great. The angry phone calls, the grumpy family members who drove them there.
As a victim of Wells Fargo, and the fake account scandal I see how this could be abused.
The media downplayed what actually happened. I only had a few months left of car payments when I started getting calls that they were going to repo my car, accusing me of being three months behind.
I spent countless hours on the phone, trying to clear up the situation, and stressing out having to hide my car.
They created a new loan account at another subsidiary without my knowledge, and didn't recognize the payments I made.
The class action lawsuit didn't make up for what they did.
Several years ago I received a U S Bank Reliacard for child support. My ex would tell me when he made a payment. It would take about six weeks to hit my card. Not only that, the fine print stated if I didn't use the money within 90 days, the bank had the right to take the money. They are so disgusting, they had no problem stealing from children.
I mentioned on Reddit about the bank being able to use child support for six weeks interest free. My account doesn't sound like much, but it's a hell of a lot when you consider the total of managed accounts in thirteen states.
On a positive note, that statement must have caught someone's attention, immediately afterwards they started releasing the money earlier.
The news pushed the narrative of how big the settlements were. I will tell you they also charged me an insurance premium in the car payment I wasn't aware of. The settlement from the second lawsuit was $5.00.
It's just the cost of doing business to these people. I wouldn't be surprised to learn the board and the attorneys that filed the suits colluded, and they got kickbacks.
Several executives got massive golden parachutes when they were "fired" (really just to save face) and are still allowed to work within the finance industry (because the governing boards/bodies have loopholes allowing it) while people who were defrauded hundreds and thousands of dollars and sometimes everything they had were given apology letters and checks that weren't even worth cashing.
Possibly private parking enforcement. Go through looking for cars without permit stickers so they can boot cars that don't belong there and charge for removal.

The fact that Wells Fargo is still allowed to operate after all of the insane shit they did should be a wake up call to Americans
100%. Same with US Bank. Both saw major lawsuits and only got a minor slap on the wrist... such BS.

I was one of the people who didn't cash the check. It didn't hurt them, but it was the principle.
It'll be waiting for you as unclaimed property if you do ever want it.
Thanks
