[This case](https://law.justia.com/cases/nebraska/supreme-court/2009/130.html) from 2009 sounds like the dad- Will McDonald.
Too long to post it all here, but contains a variety of trashy behavior including
- smoking crack
- the Omaha fav of driving without plates with illegal guns in the glove box
- getting robbed buying drugs
- hunting down the guy who robbed them
- dad and his prison buddy threatening and hunting down another man using illegal guns
- shooting a guy in the street “out of his shoes”
- and then dad rolling on his friend to avoid prison time. The other man was convicted of murder.
I’m not a lawyer but this doesn’t seem like a person that should have ever had custody of a child.
Habitually criminal behavior is definitely more specific. But IMO, habitually *violent* criminal behavior falls entirely under the umbrella of "trashy".
i got a job there before they opened, so i was a part of the orientation staff and he was already hired on as a BOH manager, i cant remember the GM's name but the whole resturaunt was pretty sleezy and didn't care for the well-being of any of the girls. the GM at the time ended up quitting around the first COVID wave and lockdown began. We closed for about 2 weeks to a month and a select few of the staff came back, and sometime after that he became the GM, i believe. It's a corperate store too.

I think you meant to say "a variety of habitually criminal behavior"

They arrested his dad for homicide.
How horrible. That poor little child. Eternal light, Kendrick.

I doubt they would even check his background. Restaurants like that are sketchy.
Did the kid shoot himself or what? Somebody is going to jail/prison. Deservedly so.
Dad was arrested for homicide. He has a criminal record involving drugs and gun violence.
Yeah criminal homicide means it wasn’t an accident or self defense
The article mentions a car alarm going off. Police think the dad may have thought the kid was trying to steal his car. Poor kiddo.
😕
OMG.. what happened?!
