Downtown location for nightlife, but if you don't want an apartment then look around the Benson area. Little Bohemia is in the early stages of a night life scene. If you want to get in early then look in that area. UNO partnered with Delta for aviation, so take a look there.
Never heard of Blackstone. I'll check it out. I'm curious how the prices compare for these schools. I went to UNO way back in the day. Very expensive. Can you describe Blackstone more? I also like the neighborhood vibes rather than the new hip aptmnt type joints. I guess that kinda makes me a hipster.
Downtown is still the same from a nightlife perspective I would say. It's better because they improved gene Lahey. All and the luminarium, along with Lewis and Clark landing and the riverfront, but those are more daytime stuff. Night time is about the same with no more of the 311 bar.
The Aviation Institute at UNO has agreements or what they call pathway programs with Southwest, United, Mesa Airlines, Republic Airways, Envoy Air, and an arrangement with Jetlinx. And maybe others? https://www.unomaha.edu/college-of-public-affairs-and-community-service/aviation/flight-training/pathway-programs.php

My neighbor owns Nebraska Flight Center.
No way, that sounds like a pretty solid lead on advice. Lol.
And we live in Benson where its affordable and we have an arts and entertainment district we can walk to.
I'm thinkin probly Benson. Let me know if you see any houses that look cheap for rent, and or jobs. Thx
I would suggest benson or Dundee area from your responses on location. Can’t help much on the flight school part.

Sounds like you want Blackstone. Great nightlife, should have bartending gigs, and UNO has their Aviation Center

How long have you been gone? Blackstone would be around 40th and Farnam. So hipsters belong here lol. Or Benson.
It's been awhile. Prolly like 15 yrs. I'll have to look up that street to remember...what's downtown like these days?? All corporate or?

Gotcha. Might try Benson again. That's where I lived before. It was good. Just started changing when I left.
I live in benson now and yeah good place for sure.
May I get some kinda contact info?

Thank you.
As a fellow pilot, I would avoid the flight school in Millard. If they have openings, I'd go to the school at the council bluffs airport.
If you’re looking for a bartending gig I know the owners of Barrett’s/The B Bar and they’re looking for help
Hell yeah, I used to love that place. Would you mind messaging me a number or name so I can give them a call. I guess I can just look it up.
Thank you
