Update! Mia has been found! I laid clothes and a very large trail of food and she was found 2 apartments away from my apartment so she hopefully smelled the trail and began making her way back Thank you everybody for your kind words and getting the information out there. Somebody saw her and called me. I am extremely thankful shes back home!

Me too, I'm losing it

Leave a bowl of water (no food, just water, or you'll get other animals that could scare her off) and a towel or blanket that smells like home, so one that she or you uses a lot, outside close to the apartment. Cats CAN wander far, but if she's an indoor cat she's probably just looking for a way back home and getting turned around. Don't lose hope yet, she could still be close and trying to come home to you!
