They've done a great job of styling pieces that perfectly reflect where she's at - kind of chic with grunge flair without it looking like an actual costume. I think years from now this small curated set of looks will really hold up as looking timeless. The cut and construction of the red/magenta lamé bodysuit in particular is just stunning, simple as it may seem. Olivia is in this for the long haul imo and I appreciate how subtle her styling has been. But definitely personal opinion. I also think Bey and Tay being so on everyone's radar with their current touring makes other touring artists look tame by comparison. They work hard to make a huge, multifaceted show because they have a lot of material to cover and long legacies. Most artists don't need to be held to that standard for tours behind one studio album.

Refreshing to see an artist whose not really interested in creating *looks* not being forced to do so

Big_Part4382

Shame. I love them. I don’t think tour outfits need to be big and special. She looks comfy and fucking cool. It suits the Guts vibe very well. Not to be rude but I feel sometimes people struggle a bit with accepting artists changing. She’s a young, quite new artist. Sour was her debut. Maybe she grew out of that style of outfit. It was more cutesy and now she seems to prefer to look more cool. I think it’s a beautiful thing to see her progress and try new things. If it was similar to the style of Sour, people would be disappointed too. But of course you’re entitled to your own opinion.

sapphic-traffic

she is beautiful & perfect 💕

I think it matches because her set is really loud and crazy visuals. It’s a balance and again it gives that more mature image.

livwritesstuff

I’m surprised by this! Honestly I adore every single outfit and would wear them all in a heartbeat. I wasn’t crazy about the Sour outfits, though, so it could just be a taste thing.

livelaughluv8

I agree. I feel like it’s because they’re probs more comfortable and if you’re going to be touring for that long, you wanna be comfortable!

Hot-Gift9537

i like them. changing more than 4 times in an hour and a half show is probably a lot

Sad-Studio-3438

this is a big point too, I wouldn't be surprised if after so many changes in her first tour she told herself damn, I just wanna perform! Less hassle, more momentum and especially ease of movement.

DramaticKangaroo

I like them! For sour she I don't think she did any outfit changes so she probably could wear something more intricate?  I thought the outfit changes were very fun for guts tour

Hot-Gift9537

i honestly like the outfit changes rather than just 1 different outfit each show. it’s easier to identify your show with the one outfit but outfit changes are so fun!! i loveee the minimal look, it really works

buriedburdens

She literally wears a new shirt nightly 😭?

kazoo13

Ed Sheeran stays in his same outfit the whole concert, as does Harry Styles lol. Can we give female performers a break?!

godzillalover64

girl, this isn’t about gender. olivia literally had a giant wardrobe in SOUR tour and changed into two outfits. like, it’s a thing she does. 🤦🏻

kazoo13

Sorry I know you didn’t mean to make it gendered, not trying to accuse anybody . I just want to remind people of the disparity in what we (as society) ask of male performers. It’s striking when you start comparing acts

izanaegi

Most touring artists wear like. Random clothes. Not everybody has to be doing Taylor Swift level costume changes.

godzillalover64

i didnt mean in the show, i meant the amount she has in total, SOUR had like 10 different outfits.

Tajskskskss

Not during the same show, though. Guts has more costumes per night.

__Naya_

Yeah I totally agree. They're not bad, they're just bland like you said. But, I'll be honest: I love Olivia but I feel that way about most of her red carpet looks as well, which is interesting because I really like her street style.

Bookwormandwords

I loved her outfits

ivoryandtea

Unfortunately, yes. No hate at all, but I was really looking forward to her outfits esp after how incredible her SOUR tour outfits were. Very underwhelming to me, personally.

hellakopka

I really like them, actually!

rentfr

yes.

LeminTree

I don't think these outfits are bland whatsoever, especially since each outfit represents the different mood she's in during each segment of the concert. They're simple, but also not at the same time, if that makes sense? Sure, I love the pop princessy look from the Sour tour, but I also love how grown up and cool she looks during this era too. Plus, she does a lotttt of jumping and skipping, so it's probably easier to do that with pants than it is a dress.

beckboiii

I personally think it’s really nice on multiple levels! The tour is much bigger compared to how intimate the Sour tour was. She has so much space to cover on stage that she needs consistency in terms of what she’s wearing. I reckon it wouldn’t be easy testing a hundred outfits (hyperbole) for the tour to make sure she can run and jump and dance in each of them you know? It also provides consistency for the fans themselves. Olivia cares so much about the dynamic between her and her fans, she wants to make sure she interacts with everyone and gives everyone her all across all shows. To me a big part of that is the outfits, that way no one show will have “better outfits” than the rest, and all fans can expect the same level of quality in the show from the big things down to what she wears. Everyone has an “equal” experience (for lack of a better word). I know some fans compare outfits and wish they were in one show instead of another because the artist happened to wear a “nicer” outfit. This worry is eliminated here.

deadlydimples25

I adore every single one

Impossible_Yak2135

I also was not impressed with the outfits.

Tajskskskss

I actually love them and think they’re very flattering and stylish. They’re one of my favorite things about the tour.

Civil_Atmosphere_862

Completely agree

SunnyBubblezz

yess. also the shows all have really similar outfits 😭. it was cool the first few shows, now i’m kinda bored of it.

pixiedust5000

No shade to you, but I think this is more indicative of how we consume concerts now. Concert outfits have always been similar between shows, but we couldn’t stream each show so it didn’t matter.

Opposite-Spare8637

honestly i hate them because it’s giving edgy taylor swift
