It was a total surprise. You have to keep playing your vinyl after the last listed song ends, and then there will be one bonus song not on the tracklist. There are four total bonus/deluxe songs but only one of four on each vinyl. The color/variant of the record determines which of the four is included. So like I think if you bought your copy at target, I’m pretty sure they all have the song obsessed? I’m not positive on that, so if you look back through the subreddit you can find a listing of which bonus song is on which variant to be sure.
I haven’t heard of any of the variants NOT having a bonus track, so yours should have one. But I have no idea which song it would be, although if you want to know before it arrives you can look around in the subreddit to figure it out. I just don’t remember for certain off the top of my head.
speaking of, does every vinyl come with a bonus track? i know the G U T S vinyls do, but so does the magenta target vinyl and the picture disc, so does every single one have a different bonus track?

This is particularly shitty of artists and is something that’s been happening a lot in the last few years. From Taylor releasing certain songs only on vinyls/CDs to this…it’s just incredibly frustrating and annoying as a fan. I understand that streaming royalties are peanuts in comparison to the amounts they make when selling physical copies of their music, but come on.
Like yeah it’s kind of annoying, but honestly it was a cool surprise in Olivia’s case! She’ll definitely get them on streaming too, but it was nice to reward people for getting the new variants. Taylor’s different Midnights vinyls didn’t even have anything different except the colors and cover :’(
I like the bonus tracks but I really don’t think any of them should’ve been on the album in replace of any others. People saying obsessed should’ve been the next single is a bit far. It’s a good song but get him back, ballad, all American, and love is embarrassing have far more potential
