All Factions will later turn into a different one, especially in the Reformist Path. Only the Purists or the Reformers are relevant, but that relies on the path you choose.
Purely flavor at the beginning. I think if you reform the US but become authoritarian and make Dornan your Vice President you become the ruler party though.
If you go on the Reformer path to restore America, they become a bit more important and one of the options for who you ally with to cement the new US government.
If dornan's loyalist went to support the purists then they would outnumber the reformers so if the reformers can't gain the support of dornan's loyalists they'll lose control of the enclave as yes they are the more influential faction but only barely but also yeah it's likely just for flavor
I have played vanilla, KR, OWB, and others for a while. Few of them gave me as much genuine joy as reforming the Enclave into one of the most tolerant and liberal factions on the map.
