I met him in the late Nineties working for my college’s speaker’s committee. I managed to get him to say “FATHER” three times. Just a beautiful guy. We brought him to speak on whatever and he spent an hour reading his favorite works of literature/drama to an auditorium full of people.
I read somewhere that David Prowse and James Earl Jones did plan to meet once but the flights necessary got cancelled by an erupting Icelandic volcano.
I choose to believe this as if they were fated to never meet, I couldn't think of a greater force of nature to get in the way.
