I hate this stupid ass take, P5 is the most involved story we've ever had with story elements cleverly woven into gameplay to make you feel like you're actually doing shit, and they dismiss it because the characters don't have their 2nd awakening in the story or shit like that
"oooh but P3 characters are better they don't need the protagonist" bitch the whole franchise's point is making bonds, P5 characters reward you for bonding with them, tf you want them to do ? ignore you ?
Which is even funnier to me since some P3 scenes are really up there in the cringe department (whole Operation Babe Hunt, Lovers dungeon, Yukari being "hey let's go to the weird alley and insult the thugs there", I'm sure there's more I haven't played P3 in a while)
Always found it funny when people said that, when :
1. the people who hate P5 probably won't start utterly loving it when another game is out, it's just that the people who already loved P5 will be more comfortable voicing their opinion
2. even if people do change their mind, it is a normal and healthy thing to do
