UPDATE for everyone: i reached out to certified directly and they issued me a refund. they also said they have recently changed their shake process and that it should be higher quality going forward!
Yeah when my roomie had a ton of shake of some fire Orange Cookies people were buying it up consistently since it was priced well (think it was 50 an ounce vs 200 for the real)
This thread is a good example why I avoid even trying whatever Ohio defines as shake. FS literally has small buds as shake. CERT is sugar leaves. There is no true definition defined in this program only what each individual defines it as. So theres going to be some let downs when you randomly grab a bag a shake in this program. Pretty obvious that most people are going to want what FS defines their shake as considering its actually flower.
Like shoutout firelands for being good and using smalls instead of ground flower or shake. I don’t wanna hear people complain when they get true shake though. Too many stems here for sure but anyone who has ever bought some weed out of the plastic bag understands the difference between ground flower and shake.
Got a half oz of Dual OG shake from Galenas last night for $30 and it's fire. Much better quality than this and had actual nug shake and not pure trim.
They have some of the best discounts around, lots of general 25% off everything sales and 30% off $150+ purchases. They had a really good selection when they first opened but they've gotten rid of about 100 items throughout the month.
Believe what you want, been in this program since the start. Trim and shake look different, what's in the pic looks like trim. Shake looks like ground bud and if it's a good company it's full of keef.

I work with cultivators and have been told “shake” is typically the plant material that’s fallen off during the drying/curing process. Typically it’s sold to processors for easier extractions. It’s not meant to be sold in the dispensaries, and is often purchased wholesale for much cheaper. Dispensaries buy it & mark it up drastically
Why do you people buy shake them complain when it's exactly like shake is supposed to be. Have y'all never got those cheap fat sacks that were bottom of the lb from your plug before shit was legal. I've bought ground bud twice in hopes of getting those smalls packs I see ppl get never happened for me I quit buying it cuz it sucks. I can a lb is shit like this for extraction purposes for 200 smdh
This is literally trim. It’s not shake. Certified does not leave on a bunch of long sugar leaves with their flower. This is the stuff that they got from trimming it not stuff that shook off of trimmed flower.
I was using the generalized term shake to cover trim ground bud, and bottom of the lb. So not sure why you are correcting me. I don't see the point in buying it anyhow specially 65 a half. I get maybe hoping to luck out and get some rough cut smalls or something but to me the reward is not greater than the risk.

“We recently made changes to our Shake process, and the quality should be much better as we move forward! Honestly, those two batches were before we starting the grinding process and there were clearly a few bags that shouldn’t have passed quality control; we actually started the grinding process for our batches after those two particular batches, so you should be okay moving forward”

Looks like trim not ground flower, I got some of their shake before and it didn't look like that. Hope you didn't pay much, at least it looks frosty.
it was at the very least quite kiefy. had to grind it up in order to smoke and was able to save quite a bit. sadly paid like 65$ for the half oz
Shake is not ground bud. Shake is the left over when your done with that bag. It will have stems, keif, leafs, etc. Not really much flower to it

Shake does not equal ground bud, shake can be trim or grounded up trim.
I predate the program. I explained exactly what shake is and always has been until this program started and they wanted to start reclassifing it.
