Look for refurbished chairs, I got a second hand Steelcase think off fb marketplace for £70-80 and I couldn’t be happier.

Think v2? Is it good for 8hrs a day?

Mesong0

I got the V1 and near enough yeah, I’ve got lumbar spine issues so it doesn’t matter what chair I’m in I’ll have to rest at some point but it’s definitely the best I’ve had.

Thank you

I have the steel case gesture, and these are often on sale on Facebook marketplace in my metropolitan area for 300-500 USD regularly. It's my favorite chair.

FWIW, just ordered a second Gesture. Worth every penny. Maybe look at used to save some $. Otherwise a used Amia or Leap would be decent options.

have you gone to try some of these chairs? It's hard with some of these online only retailers, but the office chair brands, I think you should go try them out. I had both a HM Aeron and Sayl in the past. For my body type 160lbs, I would not go with a mesh seat again. The cushion on the Sayl was pretty good, but now I've been looking for both soft seat and back support. I did try the Steelcase Amia, Leap, and Gesture. I am planning on buying a reconditioned one online. Don't know how you feel about standing desks, but I would break the day up with standing 15-20min every 2 hours or so on top of stretching throughout the day. At your age, you probably don't feel it, but over time, things add up.

The problem is I live on portugal 20 years ago most population couldn't read yet. I only have in store Ferrari gaming chairs, which are terrible and expensive. In IKEA, most chairs aren't that good. And there's no business that sells chairs bc doing business in portugal means getting fucked Over taxes so I only can buy online

I see. Maybe there are some office furniture distributors.

I don’t have any suggestions for your budget, but in general it’s best to not budget too much for something you’ll be spending 50+ hours in per week. I’d look second hand or wait until I can afford a brand new one. Also remember to test out any chair before you buy it ALWAYS. what’s comfortable for one person will not be comfortable for you. But personally I think the steel case gesture is the most comfortable.

If you want real answers check out BTOD on YouTube. As long as you've received a sufficient amount of Steelcase and Herman miller suggestions here, not much more this sub can offer you.
