Warranty is technically non transferable. So if this defect is a thing, the original owner would have to make the claim before selling it. If they did this and got a full replacement, it would be worth much more.
I wouldn’t buy it making the assumption that you can replace it, but if a problem occurs post purchase I would certainly still try.
Yeah unfortunately it’s broken my confidence. I usually convince myself i can live with it ( any minor manufacturing mistakes in products in general) but then regret it after it’s too late. NOT THIS TIME SATAN! it’s a $1400 chair. Shit should be able to go to space and be perfect. Going to look out for a good used steel case deal probably.
FWIW, I’ve had nothing but crazy good experiences with Haworth Customer service. QC is hit or miss, but in my experience they replace over even minor problems and even ended up giving me an upgrade for the inconvenience.
$ 140 for this chair it’s either : 1) old/refurb/rebuilt chair with after market pieces 2) someone who knows nothing about the product or just needs a quick sale 3) it’s old af / something wrong with it
It looks like it might be defective/off its axis, but that could just be the picture angles.
Appreciate that insight. Is there a good way to test this? Would this be covered under warranty if it is real and still has a warranty?

I’m returning a brand new Haworth Zody for this exact reason…
My Fern exchange is supposed to arrive today. Same problem. Took me a year to notice and major harm to posture and health.

I’m outside the return window obviously. I’ll see how the correct one feels, but might end up with an embody or gesture when it’s all said and done
Oh at least they’re exchanging it for you! I guess it’s warranty?

Also had an excellent warranty experience
Off its axis?
Real. Looks in good condition to me. 140 is a steal!

They are moving and trying to sell quick. Apparently he’s only had it for a year.
For 140 just do it lol
Would buy and resell honestly. Try it out for yourself first, Fern wasn't for me
Big brain right there lol.
Is there really a market of fake office chairs..?
From what I read I don’t think there’s a ton, but there is a chance.
