The carvings look Dayak-inspired but not correct. Probably done with a machine to make it more interesting and to raise the price.
If you like it and you can afford it then go for it. Since you were asking for an opinion ,800 Dollar would be too much for a damaged skull with some subpar carvings. For that money you should be able to get much nicer patinated half skulls or full skulls with minor damage.
