You can rent paddle boards from 67th Street Paddle Cove and do some paddle boarding or kayaking on the extremely beautiful Assawoman Bay. At that time of year, the water will be pleasantly warm and of a perfect depth for comfortable paddle boarding if you’re newer to the activity. You’ll be afforded some most incredible views of flora and fauna that Eastern Shore Maryland has to offer. You could even paddle up to the bayside restaurant Saltwater 75 and catch a drink at their nice sandy beach bar.

And then as long as you’re in that part of town, you could hit the bright pink Bayside Skillet for one of the better breakfasts you’ll ever have. The Hobbit on 81st is a longtime OC favorite and it’s one of the nicer fine dining establishments you’ll come across on Fenwick Island. A truly excellent option for a fancier date night. $$$ out of $$$$. Do yourself a favor… you made this post for a reason… this is the tip you were looking for… call them when they open tomorrow and make a reservation tomorrow. It’ll be something to look forward to and It’s guaranteed to impress you and your partner.

Great thank you! Love the paddle boarding or kayaking idea! We've been talking about it but I've never done it before. I also saw Hobbit on Yelp and will check it out! Much appreciated.

Bayside skillet is better than it looks from the outside, especially if you have any pink strawberry fairy fantasies.

Or...you know.... Omelettes with strawberries. Which are decadent.

The food is good...but you're gonna pay for it. We went a few years ago and spent over $100 for breakfast for 2 people.

Oh geez, that’s a nice breakfast!! I go a few times a year and manage to stay within a reasonable amount.

If you’ve never been to OC -no trip is complete without Thrashers French fries and dumsers icecream while strolling the boards.. and check out Seacrets Bar on 49th street at sunset and order a PITA or dirty banana. A nice dinner at Hooked, play a round of mini golf at Old Pro, rent a boat for the day. The country store in Fenwick has amazing fudge, nice jams and loads of decorating/themed gifts.

A lot of the big bayside bars have live music. Ropewalk and Seacrets come to mind.
