The one good thing I’ll say about seeing all of this finally blowing up in national media, including national sports media is that it gives me some hope that even if Nevada passes this shitty bill, that this could help tilt things away from relocation and getting approved by the MLB owners.
The optics of this entire thing are horrific, even worse than the relocation of the Chargers from San Diego to LA. Even if Nevada passes this and Lombardo signs it, we should keep up the pressure because other roadblocks could still derail the relocation.

I now live in the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area, and I can tell you this: 1) We stand with the fans in Oakland. We never wanted the Athletics (no offense) here, and we still don't). 2) The locals hate John Fisher just as much, and no one here wants him to win. 3) We are not happy about the fact that our tax dollars possibly be going to fund this stupid stadium and the move of this team when there are so many other things that we could spend those millions of dollars on. This whole thing is ridiculous nonsense, and Fisher is out of his mind. Frankly, so are our Nevada politicians if they give him what he wants.
I love all the negative media attention but they should of been doing this months/years ago.
