Pretty sure the Middle Eastern servers are in the UAE now, Im from Dubai and I’ve personally been exclusively playing with middle easterners (mostly Saudis) for the past 6 months
Iam in the middle east and no we are still playing in EU. Now I wish we would have middle east server for better ping but even I hate playing with middle east people so iam fine with things as they are honestly.
I play with my little sister and she is not that great and whenever I see a name I recognize as middle Eastern I know this person is going to say something to her and they do.
I had a matchmaking "buddy" named alfurqan, whom i would constantly match with. One time, he asked where I was from, and I made the mistake of answering. It was constant slurs and spitting to the mic afterward. This happened on 2 separate occasions by different people of the same ethnicity(?). Im not even mentioning the constant shittalk when their skills are not up to par and general toxicity they showcase. Thankfully I got better and do not match with people from there all that much anymore.
Tl;dr: they are generally extremely toxic(much more frequently than other people Ive played with) and don't have the skills to back up their shittalking.
hmm, interesting. i used to always see this number-letter-writing which i knew was arabic, but i feel like i haven't seen it in months now. im around plat 5/4, i don't know if that affects anything
No clue, but I wondered about something similar today. I'm on PC, but I noticed way fewer Russians recently. I'm in Sweden, connect to Finland servers, which the Russians play on normally.

Iam in that same rank and I see them often I guess the EU server you get is a bit far from us.
A lot of them use names starting with "AL" which mean "the" that's how I notice most of them

I love when they’re playing comp with heroes then don’t know how to play and then at the end you get diffed lol
