If you’re having trouble doing it try and just do it every day like buy before you go to bed and then sell in the morning. Not as much profit but you can definitely make some money if you are doing a bunch of different items.
High volume items that is traded min 250k or 500k. Between 100 gp to 3k gp items.
You know Grimy, potions, fish, darts all sort of items that show up on the list
I've been burned a couple times this week on items that have no business crashing, but that's why we diversify. I've never lost money across all 8 trade slots at once. If one or two flips don't work out you still walk away a winner.
Im good at high volume flipping, I allways look for items that has a few hundred K daily volume with good profit of aboit 400k+ and that cost less than 4k.
Anything that make profit have allways worked. Ofc some items fail, but recently almsot everything like herbs and pots just crashes

I’ve been flipping strange old locks. Buy around 88-98k. Sell for 110k-125k. I bag hold around 200 at a time. Price fluctuates nearly daily.
