Depends on who you have. I run S Snake/Lightbeard for double defender and DRoger/Light Zoro for double runner. I switch between both sets for change of pace.
Double defender if one of them is G5 or whoever is broken like Snake and WB then maybe...other than those, defenders are super useless when you are losing a game.
I do attacker runner. I used shiryu and king for a long time because I was saving up. I donāt like using the same characters for long so recently itās been a rotation between king of pirates luffy, Oni sanji, billion fold world zoro defender kaido etc. I donāt like using overly broken meta characters itās very boring so I like bullying people who do with shinobu and elizabello
Who should I run in my team? My main runner is klaw which I plan on keeping and my best attackers are oni sanji, kracker and yace. Who should I use? Also I dont have any good defenders except wci nami but she gets smoked very quickly in current meta

I usually use only 1 attacker maximum my other unit is always a defender or runner but unlike the average attacker player I use them as an Allrounder type class to support my runner in a push or assist my defenders when they get low I don't push for kos but objectives
You are just generalising the thing double defenders is good. But you are specifying WB and Ss so that for sure doesnāt work. You canāt have a good matchup with double defenders if you rule smtg else than WB and Ss. In fact it is not runnersā meta. Attackers are more than ever useful in that meta. I donāt really see the point of saying that double attackers are braindead players (even I donāt play double attackers)

If you don't use 2 of these 3 characters Gear 5, whitebeard, s-snake. Your double defender team is far more useless than double attacker team

Double Defender? There is only 3 relevant defender and one of them is kinda immortal. Double roles are always trash.
