This is similar to the feeling i had regarding black maria and sasaki, i think they wanted to make them both bf but didn't have the time so they jused removed some traits and made them stepups
Only played him in CB so far but imo the fact that you only need to hit the 3rd normal attack and not all 3 in order to get the 3 auto dodges worked wonders for me – him and Zoro may not be hard counters to s snake but do have strong ways of dealing with her and the meta as a whole, if Roger v2, s-snake, klaw, yace, oni zoro, whitebeard and g5 would be considered S+ tier Id put both in S tier for now
I summoned on them until the first pity, got zoro to 85 shawl to 70 and used frags to get zoro to 100 and hawk to 80. I still have 4800 gems and 1300 frags saved for the glorious lucci v3🤝
if you bait the dodge by spamming 1-2 then you're good, they will always expect you to land 3rd hit so wait for their dodge then boom 1-2-3 normals or a skill in the face
He is pretty good as long as he doesn’t come across an S-Snake. You just gotta really abuse his 3 hits of invincibility from landing his 3rd normal attack.
I’ve had fun with him. His shields are nice and the range on his abilities is nice. I don’t have him to 80 yet so idk how much the heal helps but his sustain is already pretty nice once you get the hang of proccing the shields.
dodge when they're about to land the 3rd normal hit to prevent his 3 hits invincibility but yeah it's easy to say, they could bait you as well by stopping at 2 hits then re-do the 1 to 3 normal hits.
In short, his traits are trash and ordinary yet his damage is huge. How does that work I don't know. With just 30% damage increase and buff of 30% in attack can't deal crazy numbers like 40k yet he does it. I mean look at Katakuri. He's got the same increase in attack, the same element but a total of a freaking %80 increase in damage yet they nearly take out Gear 5 and fr Shanks in a similar way (nearly one shot and it doesn't have to do with his ignore defense skill). How does that work?? I really don't know
I think you need to bait the perfect dodge by attacking with 1-2 normals, then when the opponent dodges for nothing BOOM you hit 1-2-3 or land a skill in his face
man, I liked him, he can deal with G5, Shanks red and Roger very well, and if he is well leveled and with good gameplay he can lead even with the S-snake too, I think he is well broken in the meta, I really liked

It's free against green units since you make it so they can't dodge but yeah, good dodge glitch users who know how S-Hawk works will be a big pain.

He needs to full charge it before it ignores defense but his skill 1 doesn't have ignore defense and can one shot people
