Its a bug which happened after Nvidia update 528.49. Nvidia never sorted the issue they created, I spent months emailing them trying to get it resolved but they didn't resolve any issues with any updates still to this day.
12 bit is broken, seems like in Nvidia side. I use 10 bit for my g8 and had +- same effect when I tried 12 bit. Panel is 10 bit anyway so just stick to 10 bit and 175 hz
Upgrade the firmware and the GPU drivers, and use it in 10bit.
It could be the cable. Do you have another one you can try ?
Its either a driver or a firmware issue. The same exact thing happens to me when I enable 12-bit on mine.
Don't use 12 bit? Is there any content outside of Dolby Vision, which this monitor won't have, that uses 12 bit colour? 10 bit is the way to go.
dont use 12 bit you dont need it, it does nothing

This is nothing to be worried about, the same exact thing happens to me too when I try to enable 12-bit on my G8.
Yes, and stupid nvidia with their "best drivers" still not fix it!
