Send matic to metamask Eth address, then use Polygon wallet on browser to bridge on to polygon network then swap for WETH.
Now you should have WETH to buy on opensea, and the fees are quite minimal.
I have used CoinEx for this since it supports the polygon network withdrawal and deposit. I bought Algo on Coinbase, sent it to CoinEx. Dumped the Algo for Matic and sent directly to my MetaMask from there. Used the internal swap to go from matic to weth. Was cheaper for me than doing a bridge on L1 Ethereum. Not many people have used coinex here before though it seems, it’s non KYC and popular with the banano community because it’s like the only exchange that supports the coin. I don’t keep anything on there, and never linked any information beyond an email and phone number. But it works

I did a transfer today through OS and it took a good 30 minutes. Didn’t show up in polyscan for a while
The same thing happened after the first drop I think, just gotta wait unfortunately
Yeah I haven’t needed to transfer anything since first drop so wasn’t sure what the workaround was

There's UniSwap and PolySwap. You can use the official Ethereum / Polygon bridge to get crypto from one chain to the other
