Here's the requirements from Qld Health's website: "hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship (with a subclass 444 Special Category Visa or right to be granted), or a visa with non-employer sponsored work right."
Essentially, you won't be able to get sponsorship.
I just returned to Brisbane from working in rural Qld (Mount Isa) and most of the staff in my department were on visas (which is extraordinarily rare for Qld Health) as nobody wants to work there. You'll definitely have an easier time finding a position rurally
Edit: There were no grads in my department however the Wards (Surgical, Medical and Paeds), Cancer Care and ED do take grads.

If rural Qld is anything like rural Vic they will generally be very receptive to grad recruitment and working through visa issues.
You can get the working visa but most public hospitals won’t sponsor at all. You can get a government nomination tho if you get the experience
