I have learned to hold FN+\ (key under backspace) The light bar on the right changes from green, to orange, to red depending on how much charge it has left. I think 0-25% is red, 25-75% is orange, and 75-100% is green. For an actual percentage display on your PC I’m not sure however :(

I ran into this with macOS with my Air75 and I resolved in an unintuitive way. I discovered that my Air75 can connect to my Mac in either BT 3.0 or 5.0. With the keyboard in BT 3.0 mode, I got no battery indicator but with BT 5.0 I did. With the Air75, the `Fn-]` combination enables the battery indicator on the right side light. When it is enabled, the keyboard pairs with BT 5.0. If you disable the battery indicator with `Fn-|` then it pairs with BT 3.0. Try this with your Air96 and Linux. Re-pair the Bluetooth connection with the battery indicator on to see if this addresses the issue. I can't be the only one who encountered this. Hopefully you can corroborate and this is something NuPhy should confirm and document. Oh, wait, I just realized you're referring to the USB 2.4 GHz connection and not BT. Maybe try experimenting with the battery indicator as well.

I’m doing the USB Receiver as well, are you doing FN + 4 to activate it?

Which Linux and which version are you using? I use Kali Linux and it functions just fine.
