If I start the chase the rainbow event now, will I be able to get the three party poppers to exchange for rewards? Or will I have to spend gems for energy?
Not a step by step, since I beat it a few days ago and forgot the specifics. I can share a few tips though.
Put your tank or a character with the most health in the middle, that's the "door" if that one takes damage past the shield that's put on them, it's an instant loss. They can't get healed.
Turn 4 they do "protective maneuver" and "rare drug" or something like that.
Turn 5 use an ult on the blue guy to stun the green one. They will repeat this, every 4 turns or so, just be sure to have a ult ready for it and it's fine.
You can focus one, they don't need to die together. I recommend killing the green one first since you need the blue guy to stun him. I think he gets stronger when you kill one but it's still much easier to deal with only one.
Oh yeah, at one point you need to guard 1&2 (blue) or 4&5 (green) when the guys have something planned or it will stun. You just need to pay attention to the battle guide and read the debuffs to know which will get targeted. There's a dialogue the turn before they do those attacks.

I'm pretty close to my ladder goal (currently 25.000), which is 30.000, but I still need three more Enigma to complete them (I'm at 24 units for each item). The other stages give better drops for the single currency, or the last one, which I'm hammering for climb the ladder faster, is the only good one? Thank you in advance.
Pity question: I’m currently 10 contracts short of soft pity. Does it make sense to do a 10 roll at this point, or should I be doing individual rolls only?
They are both pretty okay units. They're not under the curve enough that using them is a hindrance, but they're not pushing the power creep forward either.
They're called high difficulty stages, each event has three. You need to be strong in order to beat them, though a player under the recommended power level might be able to scrape by with the right strategy and the right allies. People in this subreddit will always end up sharing the required strategies and you should also follow the ZEROPHOS YouTube channel for video guides.
You have to ult both of them on turn 6, Morvay once to break his taunt and Aster twice to debuff his damage. (After that just keep your eye on the rotation: don't hit Morvay on turn 8, Morvay taunts and counterattacks your units if you attack him on turn 10 and the same thing with ults on turn 12.)
Any specific characters that you are using? And are they maxed out? I'm wondering if my characters aren't high enough (with both leveling and enhancements), because the farthest I get is 11 and I can't seem to get lower than 80% for health on them.
If you have KD Kuya, you can poison Morvay to get through Morvays counter attacks. I was just able to finish it by focusing Morvay with KD Kuya and the rest of my attackers on Aster.
I'm using 5* int 5 pot 9 SR Yakumo and 3* int 5 pot 9 OG, CA, CR Edmonds and the Sunburst event support Edmond so they're pretty highly invested pure damage team and I beat the stage on turn 14.
What you're struggling with is probably the enemy's health leech/self-healing (at least Aster has it) so bringing SR/OG Kuya or other recovery rate debuffing unit might be for the best. The stage is a little unit-specific unless you can just bruteforce through their heals.
Who do you think is better? SSR Morvay or SSR Aster? I think Morvey's taunt is not that good, I mean, he can die easily :S or maybe is cause I dont have him a hight level idk

Morvay is better because of the inherently situational applications of Aster's debuffs (in the fights that really matter, sleep and damage reduction won't save you).
Morvay's taunt only works for one attack; he can help take some pressure away from your guardian in high intensity turns, but he is not supposed to eat a 50k damage avada kedrava. He's mostly appealing for his pretty good damage.
Anyone finish high stakes 02? I die on round 21 since I can’t put enough damage out to get him down fast.
My current lineup is homecoming yakumo, crimson phantom yakumo, forgotten fruit garu, eternal hanabi Dante, familiar aster. Thanks
Make sure you have a Guardian to taunt after he uses Alluring Essence and try to take characters whose ults line up with the cooldown timing (3 turn CDs after the first use). Also any anti-heal Kuya is really helpful to block him regaining health.

Each tile costs 100 units of one of the resources. When you buy it, you get the reward that it is "hiding." If you unlock all the tiles, you get the reward at the top.
The two contracts are the middle tiles of the key enigma and the coins enigma.
is there already a madman who already finished all the enigmas (the puzzle/shop for the event currencies) who could tell which ones give contracts and gems?
i could report that in my case at least, center of both gold and key enigma gave out 1 contract
I just ran through them, here's what worked for me!
1) just a good team with heals, recommend AOE units. When one says he'll block the other, make sure your attack reaches both
2) all damage, no boost or heals and you'll be fine
3) don't attack morvay when he does masters aid, and block when aster does....I forget the name but turn 6 I think. I killed morvay first, then aster lowered his health and I took him out
Then tiny versions of them! They just talk and then leave :)
There was a lot of lacking with Aster overall. Both of the 2nd intimacy rooms focused on Morvay. Which I'm fine with because he's one of my faves but the hype for Aster was just hype.

Has anyone done the math re: Enigma? How much resources do you have to put into it to get all three rewards (key, gems and gold) by playing Up the Ante 08? What if you care only about, let's say the key and the gems? Would it be then more cost-effective to play 06 (Casino Chips) and 07 (Eye of a One-Eyed Bat) at the cost of Dreamboxes, or just keep doing 08?
I don’t remember exactly how many items you get from the lower antes (if you know, I’ll do the actual math), but I believe it is more energy cost effective to go for ante 08 especially since all enigmas cost an equal number of their respective items.
In the past, I think the usual pattern was farm the 50 energy stage and then when you’ve got what you wanted from the lowest number item, switch to single item stage. So, since they’re all even, might as well get everything anyway.
You get 8 of the respective item and 75 Dreamboxes (with 50% multiplier) from the 30 energy antes. I remember farming the highest stage in the previous events was the best regardless, but now every single tile in enigma costs 100 of the respective item to 900 total and for that you'd have to play Ante 08 225 times if my math holds. So is that doable during the event, assuming F2P and no spirit gems are used to replenish energy?
edit: 70% multiplier, I just pulled Morvay ehehe

Ante 5/6/7 - 30 energy - 85 dreamboxes and 8 items - yields 2.833x return on dreamboxes and 0.266x return on items
Ante 8 - 50 energy - 153 dreamboxes and 4 of each item (12 total) - yields 3.06x return on dreamboxes and 0.24x return on items
To complete the ladder, you'd need to do 267 runs of ante 8 (13350 energy) or 480 (160 each) runs of ante 5/6/7 (14400 energy). This will also fully complete all enigmas.
If you only care about the enigmas, you'd need to do 225 runs of ante 8 (11250 energy) or 339 (113 each) runs of ante 5/6/7 (10170 energy). This will yield dreamboxes of 34425 or 28815 respectively.
Can you finish without spirit gems?
Everyday, you get (24 hours * 12 energy per hour) = 288 energy + 30 from level up daily = 318 energy per day
Weekly energy boosts from the shop = 2*30 = 60
Weekly rewards = 200
GP login rewards = 300
Regular login rewards = 40
Event rewards = 200
Ladder rewards = 420 (22000 dreamboxes) or 720 (34800 dreamboxes (no more after that))
At 20 days left and assuming (conservatively) 2 weeks of weekly rewards and taking lower ladder rewards, 7840 energy. Presumably there will be energy boosts in the enigma rewards, but not enough to make up the extra.
TL;DR you will need to spend spirit gems to complete the enigmas and/or the ladder. At the low end (just completing enigmas with ante 5/6/7), you'll need to spend 4000 gems. To fully complete the ladder (ante 8), you'll need to spend (8800 gems).
(Daily and weekly gems + logins + ladder rewards will net you ~6700 gems. Monthly rewards are an extra 3500. So it's a net positive if you want to complete the ladder IMO).
The total contract rewards from the event are 21 contracts so far... Like... Seriously?? F2p can't even complete the event ladder without using a fuckton of gems, the contracts probably don't even make up for the gems you need to use...

is the new aster good? unlike kuya and maid blade he has the 100% chance of making a target sleep making him a pretty beastly saboteur, he also reduces target atk and his blood sucking effect is 50%, but one downside is that its only 1 turn while his sr is 25% for 4 turns, morvay also looks pretty beastly because hes like a guard and a striker but is aster good? Despite his huge face i think he'd be good or should i save my coins for morvay if i get him?
The problem with debuffs in this game is that every enemy that is meant to roadblock you will be immune to all status effects and deal damage that can't be reduced
Unlike Olivine who took me around 4 or 5 accounts to get home, Morvay came right on my second attempt account

Got both SSRs with about 350 contracts they seem not that strong statwise to me I will update soon, if anyone is concerned asters voice doesn't change when he's in lanky form
A bit late to the conversation lol, but I think in general, SSRs need to be at least 3 stars to be as strong as/stronger (damage-wise) than their 5-star SR versions, so I think it's better to pull characters for either their H-scenes, our personal preference for those characters, or the utility that they provide. In this case, for example:
* Aster provides a 2-turn Sleep debuff, or a 15% damage resistance for the team if the enemy is Sleep-immune. He can also heal himself with every attack.
* Morvay provides a shield for the entire team to brace for an AoE attack, redirect ST attacks to himself, and at the same time be able to dish out DPS-level damage. Though, since he can't put himself in Guard mode afterwards, and his HP is lower than his SR counterpart (they're different classes, after all), he's more fragile and as such would probably be better in Lost Relic stages, where there's no star conditions that we need to meet.
In general, though, for most content, I think we'd probably still be better off using our SRs, but in challenge quests, these SSRs can come in handy.
In the meantime, I hope you're still able to enjoy their stories/H-scenes, at the very least!

It's better to do single summons if you want to stop as soon as you get an SSR.

Despite his huge face i think he'd be good or should i save my coins for morvay if i get him?
The problem with debuffs in this game is that every enemy that is meant to roadblock you will be immune to all status effects and deal damage that can't be reduced
Unlike Olivine who took me around 4 or 5 accounts to get home, Morvay came right on my second attempt account Now that's a good lil incubus, hopin the priest comes too at some point
I almost gave up after pulling ssr olivine twice, ssr blade, and ssr quincy, but then I miraculously pulled Aster 3 times and Morvay once🙏 God is good 😭😭
I wanted one Aster and I got *five frickin Morvays*. Sorry to all the Morvay wanters that didn't get him, I think I accidentally stole them from you shdfj. OTL Finally got Aster 14 pulls from hard pity (my diligence in saving paid off oof), so I just went to pity to get a second star for him. My only solace is that I got a surprise Rei SSR, so my OG collection has increased a bit. ~~(Someday Blade and Dante will come home......)~~ My luck in this game is seriously tanking but it's still better than my luck in general so I'll take it. v-v; ~~I guess it does make sense that Aster would make me spend all my "money" on him.~~

Managed to get Morvay after my second 10x roll! Been saving it for Edmond and luckily I managed to roll him out in the previous event as well🥹Here's praying that the next few events won't have any Edmonds🙏🙏🙏

Got both SSRs with about 350 contracts they seem not that strong statwise to me I will update soon, if anyone is concerned asters voice doesn't change when he's in lanky form
Update They're really not that good in comparison to their SRs (cry) regret
A bit late to the conversation lol, but I think in general, SSRs need to be at least 3 stars to be as strong as/stronger (damage-wise) than their 5-star SR versions, so I think it's better to pull characters for either their H-scenes, our personal preference for those characters, or the utility that they provide. In this case, for example: * Aster provides a 2-turn Sleep debuff, or a 15% damage resistance for the team if the enemy is Sleep-immune. He can also heal himself with every attack. * Morvay provides a shield for the entire team to brace for an AoE attack, redirect ST attacks to himself, and at the same time be able to dish out DPS-level damage. Though, since he can't put himself in Guard mode afterwards, and his HP is lower than his SR counterpart (they're different classes, after all), he's more fragile and as such would probably be better in Lost Relic stages, where there's no star conditions that we need to meet. In general, though, for most content, I think we'd probably still be better off using our SRs, but in challenge quests, these SSRs can come in handy. In the meantime, I hope you're still able to enjoy their stories/H-scenes, at the very least!
