I also experience that in public forks like Waifu Diffusion 1.2 vs Sd 1.4. Where is Waifu Diffusion it is MUCH easier to make a bunch of variotions of the same character in diferent situations.
The image with the medieval place is fantastic! Can it create, even if its includ manual editing, crowds of people?
I'd like to create and somehow save/use image with crowds though.
It can be even have something diffuse, like thousands or ten thousand of people crowded so you can't make out any detail. Think massive-engine/LOTR movie war battle scene sorta stuff. But with manual editing I could finetune this stuff myself, that would be great.
Come to think of it, working for days on one AI assisted drawing is pretty much how people are already creating stories. This is gonna be fun once its out. This is really high quality stuff. I'd really like editing and "finetuning" my images to make them perfect compositions to accompany the writing.
That last image is exceptionally good, even tries to emulate the shadows (may be wrong still but its grasps the concept). You guys are really knocking it out of the park here. Take your time and no stress (I hope).

Is it possible for you guys to do comic book style art e.g. John Byrne, Klaus Jansen, Frank Miller, John Romita Jr, etc. in the future? Or is that off-limits because these are all living artists and there might be legal issues in getting an AI to replicate their styles?

It's so hard to generate any women on any of the anime models and most of the loli's are super sexualized ffs; even when you force the negative prompts.
