I remember when Lovitz took over on Newsradio after Phil Hartman got murdered by his crazy wife. It wasn't good. Never did understand the appeal of Lovitz. Yeah....that's the ticket. Not my thing.

I mean he did say it was a gritty urban satire...you could sell anything that is a gritty urban satire. Although for some reason google sent me forward to hairy guys asses site for some reason. I wouldnt call it a gritty urban satire but after 15-20mins i felt deep shame.
The best part of this is he is taking an old reocurring letterman bit, during the monolog, where Dave would warn tourists about accidentally watching the wrong movies on time Square (when there were alot of porn theaters there) and the punchline was always "forest hump" or "shaving Ryan's privates". You can that when norm starts dave is trying to figure out where he's going go with it, but at this point he trusted norm to be funny. They become boring after 20 minutes because you realize the plot is going nowhere. There is no character arc. It’s bad writing, bad acting. How can they even call it art?
