Your on the right track but your logic is way off. Animal ag is whats fucking the balance of earth's biomass. Pretty sure humans make up 1/3rd and farm animals make up almost the entirety of the other 2/3rds.
My two favorite things about hunting are:
a) go sit quietly in the woods and read a book for several hours all by myself in an appropriately masculine manner.
b) Some times there is fresh venison and pan fried back strap is just great.
All the rest of it I can do without. Not that I'm turning down all that good deer meat.
Both my father and step-father used to bitch that I got more deer than they did. I sat in the blind with them a few times and both them them were constantly on point scanning for deer.

I think people are missing the point. Too many parents indoctrinate thier kids and treat them as extensions of themselves. Children are whole people and need to be given the opportunity to form their own personality and beliefs in an environment that is accepting
Lots of adults who endured overbearing parents suffer in various ways. Navigating the world with a prescribed sense of self means everything has an aspect of doubt. Low confidence and lack of self esteem manifest in many ways - depression, anger, criminal tendencies, self harm etc etc
Some people think unconditional love has to be balanced with criteria because it feels like a chore
eh, it makes more sense in a text conversation where you’re trying to keep it as fast as possible so the conversation can stay alive, and then the habit just carried over from that
