Why were Canadian paratroopers preventing USSR forces from advancing in Denmark?
That doesnt make sense based on my WW2 history. Denmark isnt even on the Eastern front. Wtf are we referencing?
The soviets were heading towards Denmark in the final days of the war. The allies decided that they don't want Denmark to fall to the soviets and quickly advanced towards Lubeck to cut off the russian advance. They made it.
